Hmph...Cristina Scabbia may only have her composition and vocal strength to her advantage, but she utilizes them to their fullest. She is the personification of Gothic Metal (or at least tied with Within Temptation lol). Amy Lee is amazingly talented, but very few songs have have drawn me to tears. The Ghost Woman And The Hunter and Ghost Love Score by Tarja-era Nightwish are two of the only songs on that short list, and that's saying something.

I like both amy and christine. Love both bands but lacuna Coil is in a class all by themselves. Christina has a voice that is beautifully haunting tone and style to it. She almost sounds like a real vampire or some kind of ghost in her tone and echo. It's like she has a haunting style that hypnotizes the ears. Images of scary or creepy things come to mind when you hear her voice. She ROCKS!! and so does the Band.

I get appalled and offended when people say she sounds like Amy Lee, or that Lacuna Coil sounds anything like Evanescence. I guess because I feel like she can sing so very much better than Amy Lee could dream of, looks much more beautiful, and is a much sweeter, nicer person than Amy Lee. Not to mention Lacuna Coil is a lot less melodramatic in their music.
