@BatsuHikari sol limits his power when he's sol badguy. his headband keeps his gear form at bay. the power limiter within it outputs about 25% of his power as sol, and even that is enough to beat ky. sol and ky are not even, if you knew guilty gear's storyline you'd know that. the context is within the game. example, if you defeat sol with ky, ky himself states that it was an empty victory since sol never tries. order sol is sol at about 75% of his power. as order sol, he destroys cities.

@BatsuHikari Sol's headband is a power limiter concealing his mark as a gear. He's the first gear and doesn't take orders.....from NOBODY. You think Ragna would last if he ever you know, just took his shit off. He owns face with it on before Guilty Gear 2 were it's damaged from fighting Order Sol and he has a "slight"(massive) increase of power. Ragna, though is powerful, is nothing without merging with the chick with all the flying blades(forgive me lol, rushed the story a long time ago)

His charge system is not only a unique element to his character, the whole concept is completely badass.
