When the Trabens first came out. I had their Treben Element model. It was one of their lower end ones but it sounded amazing. And I think they use the same size a body for this bass and mine was fairly heavy. Probably almost normal weight for a five string bass though. Depends on the type of wood it is made out of to.

Trabens are great hard rock and metal basses. good for funk too

imo it sounds straner because of the rounwound strings, they change the sound :)
