  • Just finished the 60 days of Insanity. It definitely was NO JOKE. I know exactly what you mean about being a slacker. I was that girl too! Once you get in the groove of it.. you just don't want to start. Now doing P90x. I can't wait to hear about your results. I love 19 llbs on the program! Stay blessed.

  • Anyways, I'm sorry if my comments bother you, that wasn't my goal. I relate to you, trust me, I had a similar weight lost and I partly gained it back, so I struggled a lot with the same issues. I stopped gaining (and being afraid of it) the day I decided to "let it go" and stop fighting. And yeah, I go to group meetings now, it might sound weird but itbasically changed my life; ( I'm not saying you need that though, I'm just sharing how I "recovered" from my obsessions.)

  • 3. I'm learning to love myself the way I am today. I'm still a runner, but I learned the word "acceptance" ; it's OK if I don't run today. I don't blame myself anymore.

    4. I've been focusing on my weight loss for too long... forgetting the other spheres of my life, aka mind and spirit. I'm more than just a body!

  • 1. I have ONE life, and it may be shorter than I think.

    2. I don't wanna fight any more with my food and weight obsessions. I want to be happy HERE and NOW, cause who knows if there will be a tomorrow?

  • And then someone made me realize I needed to calm down. That person told me: "Would you treat your best friend like this? No way, right? So why are you doing this to YOU, the most important person in your life?" It took me a while to get this in my little head though. And I'm still struggling with it. HOWEVER, I learned a few things since then:

  • First of all, sorry for my bad english... But don't let that hold you back please. I may sound silly but I'd like to share you my own experience.

    I understand you cause I used to do that myself, that neverending circle: overeat crappy food, blame myself, overexercice, overeat crappy food, overexercice, blame myself.

  • Yeah......slacker I am. I need to pull it out of me. I've been saying I'm going to start exercising and try to eat better. I haven't gotten off to a good start at all, BUT I know I can do it. So, my Sunday has to start 2Day! Thanks Amy I really needed to hear this and hopefully I'll start doing better!

WE have to want to do this, even if WE have to pray to get it out and just do it, sometimes we can be a SLAVE TO OUR MINDS, the MIND is like a PERSON, WE have to tell the MIND what to do, you can't run from it, WE have to say look here, you are going to do this and that's it if you don't do it I'm going to sit here and MEDITATE FOR AN HOUR, the mind HATE TO SIT STILL LOL!!!   • Kudos to you for doing "Insanity." I received mine about a month ago, and my Monday just came this week. I don't have my diet where it should be, and I can't do all the exercises all the way through; but I'm trying my best. Cheers to getting off the procrastination train. I'm trying very hard not to get back on.

  • Thanks for the motivation. I was sitting in my living room on my only day off this week and was thinking I am too tired to go running today and then I came across your video. After I watched it I got up, got dressed and ran 3.5 miles. I know that's not a lot compared to 13.1 but I have been there before and want to get back there. Thanks.

  • girl ive been off on my days too and im on my 2nd round i feel so ashamed i just been mixing my workouts up jogging 3 miles everyday doin everything.. but im still workin out 2-3 times a day just not on schedule :/

  • @mzebony I guess I say its not that hard because it sorta the same intensity I'm used to when I take my gym classes (the instructors are not joke over there). I know without a doubt that I wouldve been able to hang in there and not get tired so fast had I not slipped up during the past few months. Now P90x?? Thats a whole "nother ball game :o(
