Just saw this for the first time. It's not funny. Sorry to all those hosers who think this is a fantastic comedy, but it isn't. The McKenzie shtick works best in a skit format. Two or three minutes long, tops. A feature film, written and directed by the McKenzie brothers themselves, is an excruciating experience. Thomas and Moranis cannot write. They can't plot or act either, and they're not so brilliant at directing. Truth be told, STRANGE BREW is flat.
