@davernification lol. sorry but your comment is pretty stupid. I agree if you would say there is only room for ONE TOOL in rock/metal music! but this is a total different genre. anyway the Trance project TOOL was only active from 94-96. No one can say if the guy who was behind it knew about the Metal band TOOL.
If he wasn't into that genre I highly doubt it. Keep in mind that it was in the pre-internet time.
You couldn't simply start google and check if your music project name was already in use
Aha, that explains the confusion I've seen on the net, it's not the US metal band. Granted, it's still a very enjoyable song, despite being an entirely different genre lol.
I had just skimmed through the summary and immediately noticed the absence of an artist or an album and just figured this was some random bullshit that someone, somewhere managed to get confused along the way.
So, just to get it right, the artist is a German DJ who goes by Tool? And the track's title is Evolution,
@SoulHedgehog yeah that is pretty much correct.. more or less :) ... it was available on a vinyl single with the A-side title called 'All I need is...' on the B-side you can find 'Evolution'
wtf i was looking for the TooL rock band but this song is not bad anyways

Is this REALLY a Tool song?
I found it on LimeWire AGES ago but could never find it on the band's discography. This is the closest I've come to finding the songs origin.
If it TRULY is a Tool song, could you please tell me where it's from?
