Perhaps here snake begins to lose faith in the idea of peace, learning if it is worth fighting for, or with all the sacrifices which have to be made to attain it, if it is actually possible at all? Perhaps realising that deterrance is indeed the only form of peace availiable in the nuclear age, yet this itself is only a quasi peace? sorry for my rant but this shit is great.
