Hi, I just ordered bought your kit and was looking on amazon for a battery to buy. I want the best speed and time length of battery use. I saw a traxxas battery 7 cell 8.4 5000 mAh. It says traxxas connector, will this work? If not maybe a link or good recommendation? I'd like to order the battery ASAP since I already paid you for the kit. Thanks!!

@Avenger626 sorry i just noticed, the higher the mah the longer it will last on the bike so 5000 mah will last twice as long as a 2500mah and your pb200 has 7000mah so the higher the better and just make sure to find a rc battery and charger with tamiya connectors or use a tamiya/traxxas connector if you already have traxxas batterys

@TheMani707 i sell the +5 adapter from my website but you will need a rc battery pack and charger and if you want more speed try a 8 cell nimh rc battery (9.6) volts

@whyn0t95 yes your batteries are probably shot... always put your pocket bike or scooter on the charger right after every ride even if you ride for a minute.. my batteries are 5 years old and are perfect

@41ktmracing whats a 6 volt? this kit uses a 6 cell (7.2 volt) or 7 cell (8.4)

@tyler5222 so with the +5 on with a fully charged rc battery pack its not working? if you hear a click click when you twist the throttle that means you have the newer controller with the over voltage protector that needs to be modified for racing

@tyler5222 all the wires, speed controller are inside the plastic body so you will have to remove some plastic body parts and or seat.. there is only one big 3pin connector that leads to controller/main battery's on your scooter when you find that the +5 just plugs in-between them.. but some newer models require the jump wire mod as seen in my video, you will know if you need to do that if the +5 does not work... also the rc battery needs to be charged on its own rc battery charger

I didnt find it but its ok my dad has lots of extra wire arround the house. So which type of battery do u recommend? Im pritty shure u have ansured that question before but can u ansure it again.

@Joselishes1 any brand rc battery 6 to 8 cell nickel metal hydride or nicad with 3000mah or higher will work... also make sure it has the tamiya connector end..

Come on man. I order a kit thinking every thing will turn out all right but no. I did not recive the yellow wire that is used to conect the two sottered points in the controler. :(

@techdeckman09 every part can handle a little more.. and things like motor's and controllers are pretty cheap so even if you burn it out with over volting its not to exspensive to replace...

@haydendlp it depends.. the dirt bike gets a little less top end because of the off road gearing the pocket rocket gets 6mph more from a 7.2 where you might only get 3-4mph so use a 7cell or 8cell

@johnnguyen2667 i include that for all purchases on the razor +5, for right now its only needed on the newest blue pocket rocket. you open the speed control and peel and stick the black template on the underside side of the electrical board exposing the 2 solder points needed for the +5 to work.. its a very easy remedy for the blue pocket rocket's anti-mod speed control
