@rdc1622 - this is true, the religions from the middle east (such as Islam, Christianaity) try to get numbers 4a very selfish gain, whereas beliefs from the far east (such as Hinduism, Sikhsism, etc...) try 2 develop inner spiritual connection to the Supreme + also humanity, selflessly...

i am positive jesus wanted people to idolize and seek his posthumous approval..and definitely didn't want people to try and emulate or learn from his positive traits...jo, did jesus not fast by himself for 40 days? is this not meditation? did Gautama Buddha not meditate under a bodhi tree for 49 days and fast until he became enlightened? are we to believe that they aren't the same thing....when theyre exactly the same?

I believe that is true but you also have to practice on your spirituality as well. Try not to reject things you do not know about and have an open mind. Look up the lost doctrines of Jesus Christ. What you know now will change.
