  • you posted it on a public page and left it open to comments and you tell people if they dont like it f off. how rude, why not just admit you dont know to use your camera, many people dont nothing to be ashame of, why post it? and the i took a hoilday snap. well you did it poorly and you should stop curing people out who let you know this? what a jerk

  • @cassandrabadie Look, it was years ago, the ship has been taken out of service now anyway, and I really don't care what you think! But apologies for telling you to f-off, that was a bit rude of me. And yes, I had just got the camera & didn't know how to work it :-)

  • is that you fav line telling people to f themselves. look not trying to be rude, but people go to this to see what they can expect when going on this cruise, your side way video makes it very hard to get any ideal of what the room looks like you are even trying to describe the room for us. my theory you dont know how to use your camera and instead of owning up to it, you just curse everyonw out who says anything, you sir are a bit of jerk, and dont want to hear it disable comment, you put it up

  • If you don't like it, feck off!!!

  • ok so it didnt come out good the camera is upside down why be a jerk and put it on how can i get a sense of the room? what is funny about younot knowing how to use your own camera ?? what a

  • @cassandrabadie why post a rude comment? If you dont like it, go fuck urself!

  • lol, from watching the video, it looks like it was shot on the Posiden (sp) after the wave flipped it on it's side.

  • like a travel lodge from the 70's - fine if you believe its good value to be ripped off in that way, but there 'aint no charm in the truth that Cunard just didn't want to spend money on a ship that was going out of commission, and any earlier refit would have meant the asbestos team be employed - as the ship was very near built of it.

  • Dear All,

I have a question of psychology:

    * Why do humans wnat to design and to build big crusie but other naimals do not?

I mean that other specious of animals will never dream of build a cruise, not even a small boat.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

P.S. I was in the Legal of the Sea last week for holiday. It is maller but it is very good.

  • Nice!! Bigger than those rooms in Royal Caribbean.

  • Psst. You filmed it sideways. Don't worry, though. I won't tell anyone.

  • I wish I could've traveled on the QE2, she's a beautiful ship. At least she's still around. :) Great vid!

  • it would be good it u typed it up right

  • Nice video! I have never been onboard a cruise ship and this is great! I got to know a cruise ship cabin.

  • Floating hotel in Dubai in two weeks, i saw her last ever leaving of a city last night.

    the videos are up

  • nw she may be moving to cape town

  • The moral of the tale is :- Don't let a half-wit take charge of the camera. What a pratt

  • @Noswaithdda LOL !!! Very true ;-D

  • @Noswaithdda it's only meant as a bit of fun. Sorry you were offended by it.

  • @Noswaithdda : It's quite nice actually, it's really quite nice actually, it's not bad, is it?, hello hello hello hello hello. So yeah, it's quite nice, isn't it?, quite a good-sized room, really, tha't the charm of it, it's great, it's really great.

    Lovely.

  • @Noswaithdda go fuck yourself! I took a holiday snap. If you dont like it, then sink into the mire. Miserable little shit.

  • This is like a low budget "Poseidon Adventure" where the ship is only half capsized. Damned odd.

  • Wow !!! I haven't been this motion sick since I was on the QE2 in November of 1982.

  • sorry but thats not a queens grill stateroom. I've seen them advertised and it looks nothing like your stateroom, i agree with Manwholovesthemary it looks like a "ultra deluxe" not queen's grill.

  • Hi there, it was definitely a Queens Grill stateroom - it was sold to me as such, and we ate our meals in the Queens Grill ! There are various grades of accommodation within each section, and ours was the only one available when I booked. I think it was Q4 the cabin grade. Clearly it was an unrenovated cabin, which was a bit disappointing, but it certainly had charm. I peeked inside some other Queens Grill cabins, which looked much more modern, so clearly had been renovated. Cheers, Paul.

  • sorry about that its just I've traveled in a queen's grill stateroom on the Queen Mary which Iunderstand is a newer ship then the qe2. Thats where my mistake was made awfully sorry =P. I thought the queens grill would have had a balcony also !

  • No problem. Yes Queen Mary 2 is a fairly new ship, about 5 years old I think, and bigger than the QE2. QE2 dates back to the late 1960's, although has been partially renovated. Very few of the staterooms on the QE2 have balconies. We went on a 2-day brief cruise on the QE2, purely so we could see what it was like before it's decommissioned. Loved it, was like stepping back in time, but a lot of the staff were quite surly. Regards, Paul.

  • Yes quite, sorry to be rude but was the queens grill cabin quite expensive, if so how much ?

  • Hiya. It was about £500 each, so £1,000 (about $2,000) for the 2 days. So not exactly cheap, but that included all food. For comparison, we put our Mums into the smallest single cabins on the same voyage, and that was about £280 each. I really enjoyed traveling on the QE2 though, it felt like experiencing a bit of history. Can't wait to try the Queen Mary & Queen Victoria. Cheers, Paul.

  • Thanks, Queen mary is fab I havent personally tryed Victoria as its quite new I'm going on the Princess Emerald in july which should be fun, enjoy your cruise on the Queen Victoria =).

  • Lucky! I just might go on the QE2 for the 30 March Los Angeles: Panama Canal Discovery Cruise, if Cunard says yes to my request (I'm writing an article and making a documentary for the Steamship Historic Society). But I actually looked in the brochure for the stateroom, and the cabin# is an Ultra Delux - it is NOW, anyway. When you went on (however long it might've been) it was probably that, but when QM2 did come out, they switched it so people wouldn't get confused. Thats my theory anyway...

  • Hi, hope you enjoy your next cruise ! I think we might be talking at cross-purposes here re my QE2 stateroom. I can't remember the specific grade, all I was saying is that it was DEFINITELY Queens Grill, as that's where we eat our meals ! But it was clearly an older-style room, which may be called Ultra Deluxe, I'm not sure, but that does ring a bell vaguely. All the other Queens Grill grades were booked up, so we had to take this, or nothing ! Cheers, Paul.

  • I would've enjoyed it better if it wasn't at an angle, but thanks for showing us what the "Ultra Deluxe" stateroom looks like. Like the lot o' portholes, but not as big as I imagined.

  • Hi, the trick is to watch the video on a laptop, and turn it onto its's side !! LOL. Sorry about the video angle, it was one of the first videos I took with my new phone & now hold the camera in the correct position !!! ;-)
