Um. No offense to anyone who's had plastic surgery but I can't help but think Latoya looked absolutely gorgeous and beautiful before she fixed her nose. It also looks like to me she lightened her skin (or is that the makeup?). I don't think her doing that made her turn back on her heritage as a black woman but I can understand how ppl want to improve their looks.

@kawaiiprincess2004 I remember how much I used 2 hate my nose. I absolutely loathed it because I inherited my dad's nose.The exact shape and size. I never told anyone this before. I hated it so much i had the thought in my head like,someday i'll change it.i was just a kid thinking these things but now that i've grown older i've learned to live with it. before i never knew why michael was so conscious about his nose. it shocked me how similar he was 2 me only i never did anything about my nose.

It's funny how all the Jacksons say their shyness came from their mother, but I think it's deeper than that. Their "shyness" is really an insecurity that stems from having an extremely overbearing and abusive father. My family of 7 siblings had similar insecurities because of my abusive and alcoholic father. Not a good way to grow up, but at least their father's iron fist had a purpose. you talk alot of sense. but it depends on the dispositions of family members. it seems that Latoya was the most vulnerrable to this coz she never had any talent and nEVER reconclied with this fact in her mind so then always let others control her coz of low self esteem.
