Not to mention all the hacking. I would say Treyarch is better at combating hackers than Infinity Ward was, but these games are still glitched terribly ("gold gun glitch" wtf??") ("15th prestige lobbies" wtf???) The hardest things to attain are conveniently glitched.

And don't get me started on the lag in Black Ops.

That being said, CoD4 > Black Ops > WaW + MW2

WaW was one of the least competitive CoDs. CoD4 was most competitive because aside from Stopping Power the game was fairly well balanced. Skill usually beat luck. In WaW, MW2, Blops, luck is on par with skill. Meaning even crap players can have a good game, whereas crap players on CoD4 (and to a greater extent CoD2) got wrecked.

Since there are more bad and average players than good ones, it makes sense to market to them to make more money.

The only thing I miss from MW2 is how smooth the games went. Yea there was some lag periodically when the game chose a bad host, but most of the time it ran smoothly, u get a smooth game 25% of the time on Black Ops which is a shame

In black ops i can consistently do somewhat well because its so balanced that bad players dont have crutches that make them better so good players kick ass while bad players go negative, but see in MW2 you never know when your gonna get commando knifed or noobtubed so it makes it somewhat harder, in my opinion , plus mw2 is alot more fast paced then cod black ops, not to mention has a smoother engine
