Homecourt sucks. It's very good in the visuals and the soundtrack, but the gameplay is too dependent on dunks. You can't freak a defender then slash to the basket for the lay up because it either gets blocked or you get knocked down. And good luck getting to the lane. Defenders simply shove you to the ground and take the ball the other way.
@TheDazedDude101 lol me too had it along time ago. In my elementary school one kid was always talking about this game and saying about a sequel,but i bought my gamecube back this year,because i miss the classic old game like xiii and splinter cell so later i got this game back too.
@TheDazedDude101 you can choose any team to put him it depends on what city you like, the team name, and style. Personally i choose showtime hoopstars because of there overall and of course the city la.
this game requires patience, .. but once u master timing of when to do moves...its sick... u cant do post ups, .. fadeaways, .. spin moves, ....etc. you can play regular ball, .. the point is not to use the trick moves all the time... but playing D it tough, .. they should've made the blocks more realistic
@heatmorama010 maybe because you wanted to get the new systems today or wanted to get another game, but don't worry you can buy the game again its only $2.99 and if you don't have the systems like gamecube,ps2, and xbox there pretty much cheap the gamecube is only $29.99 and ps2 is $59.99 and $69.99 and the xbox is only $59.99,so yea its pretty much a cool game. ^_^
