  • what is the rate of twist in that barrel?

  • @dunnsguns1 most likely a 1 in 9 twist

  • what is the difference in veloc, in the wsm and 7mm mag? or is it just the shorter case? iv looked in my reloading data at 300wsm and 300win mag on different bullet weights, but the max loads are better in fps with the 300win mag than the max load for the 300wsm. is this the same with 7mm?

  • What type of ammo are you using

  • What sort of class, if any, did you guys take for long distance shooting? I've just recently gotten into shooting (and even more recently target shooting).

  • i wanna try this with my slug gun

  • Damn. I'm a believer. Your time numbers for bullet and sound travel are spot on. Listened to this through headphones with the audio cranked, sounded fantastic. Great shooting!

  • WOW

  • The delay in hearing the bullet hit the target is just surreal! Fantastic shooting!

  • Looks like Chris is digging the gun I built him...

  • @Caprc1 Thats an understatement.... :-)

  • @Caprc1 Sure am. Ready to build the next one?

  • @Caprc1 Sure am, ready for the next one?

  • very interesting. gotta try that myself sometime.

  • Incredible shooting.

  • took me about 12 rounds to get on target. I was about ten feet left and had a hard time seeing because I was alone and it was still before sunrise. It took 38 MOA on my scope and there is a 30 MOA rail on the gun. Thanks for all the kind words. Hopefully I'll have some 2050 yard video in the next month with the same gun.

  • @reltub555 Awesome shooting! Could you make a vid describing and showing off your gun and explaining what you did to it? Thanks!

  • outstanding!!! good deal and nice shooting!!

  • Best shooting exhibition chanel on Youtube. If I wasn't seeing it - I wouldn't believe it. Very impressed and very, very jealous.

  • Amazing shooting. A couple question:

1 - it sounds like there's an echo at the same time we see the round impacting the target. Any clue where that sound is coming from?

2 - how many shots did it take your friend to get on target and get the full dope?

    That's amazing skill. :)

  • @shootingnerd The first boom is the sonic boom coming back to you the second boom is the impact.

  • @shootingnerd Yes, the first echo is the gunshot sound bouncing off of the hills, you will heard it every shot, hit or miss. And Im not sure long it took him to set up, not long though, he is a regular and he is very good at these ranges.

  • @mag30th great shooting... what scope did you use...? I wonder how I could see a target at 1400 yrds with a 25x scope?

  • Damn good shooting!!!!!! :-)

  • you guys just can't have fun at a regular 100 yards range, can you!? LOL

  • @TheHiddenPart 100 yards to them is bound to be dreadfully boring for these guys...unless they're shooting at a moving target with a slingshot and rocks...

  • wow...great shooting. I almost think the term "shooting" falls drastically inadequate with that kind of range.

  • @txstang84 shelling?

  • @TheHiddenPart touche

  • what is your hold over at that range?
