His power, range, clarity, and consistency all slowly withered away because he didn't take the time to rest his vocal chords, warm up, or train when he needed to. Smoking cigarettes before each show didn't help much either. Singing as well as he did is hard, but totally possible if you keep at it.

With pitch correction software, the studio makes anyone sound better. He's pretty good compared to most acts you see these days, but he's not exactly amazing either. Still, the guys singing back-up are definitely solid.

OK TO EVERYONE .... every band no matter what idc who u are they use auto tune but theres a line.... u can either sing or cant COVE can sing maybe hes just not hitting the notes right on ...but of course its gonna sound like that it live.... they do that for recording to make it perfect... so fuck all you cunts saying hes a bad singer

@ANGELSandBlink44 I give him props for being able to sing. I think the one thing thats making people think he is a bad singer is the fact that he's really stretching his voice. He doesn't know how to get up there without tension, and that affects tone.

@tomathanielguitar I never said he was bad. I quote my own comment, "I give him props for being able to sing." But its obvious there is strain there. You can't deny that. If you deny that, then you have the crappy musical ear. His tendency to be a tiny bit flat just helps prove the point. Again, I don't think he's bad. I think he's pretty good. But strain is there. Thats my only point, and was my only point in my previous comment.
