The most dangerous spider in the world is certainly debatable. The Brazilian wandering spider is believed by some to have the most powerful neurotoxic venom. And what about necrosis-causing (i.e. tissue damage) venoms, like that of the six-eyed sand spider? There isn't even an anti-venom for that.
@ozymanhead I think you didnt catch the point of this man. Web funnel spider is most dangerous cuz it is a super agressive and did he sayed that this is also most venomous?
This, the White Tail, Mouse Spider, Wandering Spider, Brown Recluse (Or any form of Loxodese spider) scare the shit out of me. The widows or buttons aren't as scary to me, but are still powerful.
What I find fascinating about the Redback is that it *seems* to be a direct cousin of our North American Black Widow. The only difference is that the Redback has its marking on its back instead of its belly.
Japan had a redback infestation in the late 1980's. It made the newspapers here in my country. Many Japanese people bitten and hospitalised before they discovered that a whole colony of redbacks came over in a shipment of Apples from Australia.
It bred quickly in the docks area for several months before being erased.
if he's on the hunt for one of the most dangerous spiders in the world in the forest, WHY is he wearing SHORTS????
