Who would have thought a saxaphone part would have ever been embraced by a vocalist? She is a sensation. I probably would have passed out if I had ever had a chance to see her during her height of career live! wow... so gifted her level of incorporating all live noises/sounds around her in what she is doing spontaniously. Genius.
@amyketchum hate to tell you, She is the best singer EVER, but she did not do this spontaneously. I study her very, very closely. Looked at nearly her recordings.
Rip it Anita!!!..........first class jazz from one of greatest of all times.......who today could pull this off?.......not many I bet....thanks for letting her swing again.....
She is TIMELESS. Sounds just as fresh today as it did 53 years ago!!
