Earthbounds has a really great soundtrack and one of the best RPGs of all time. Some Gamers these days, only care about Call of Duty and other shooting games that are shit. Earthbound ftw !
Dispite all porky did, i feel a bit bad for him. i mean his dad abused him, he had barely any friends, and giygas took advantage of that, and yet giygas never wanted to be betray maria at all. in the end the whole series's events were caused by giygas's people. i wonder what happened to them???
@minifig2401 My guess is that they died after the events of Mother 1. Maybe their motivation for taking over Earth before George escaped with the knowledge of PSI was to obtain a new home because the resources on their old one was used up or something. And since Giegue failed in his mission, his people perished. That would explain why they were never brought up at all in the other two games.
@Mingaggins Same here, sept that the armor isn't really armor. I've figured that the Starmen were the army of their race. After Giegue left Earth, the remaining Starmen on Earth died, if they weren't killed already. Maybe they had another colony somewhere because I know that there were Starmen in Earthbound. Maybe that's where Giegue found out about his defeat against Ness and became Giygas. I haven't played or seen a playthrough of Earthbound, so I'm not sure if that would hold up.

This some makes me really think about Porky whenever I hear it. He started out as A normal kid, except he was abused by his parent's, hated by everyone, and had only one friend which was Ness. Then because of that he let evil seduce him, and he joined Giygas. He wanted to take over nowhere island's just to get rid of everyone who hated him. only In the end all he can do now is sit in the ASC and think about all he's done to everyone with no way to get out. That punishment is worse than death...
THere will be no official Mother 4 game as far as we know, Itoi himself stated he was done with the series. However fans are making an unnoficial 4th instalment.
Since my college is nearby, I walk there. On my way, I sing songs from the Mother series. Particularly this one. Sadly, no one has joined me in singing this song, but I won't give up on my quest to find other Mother fans in RL

This some makes me really think about Porky whenever I hear it. He started out as A normal kid, except he was abused by his parent's, hated by everyone, and had only one friend which was Ness. Then because of that he let evil seduce him, and he joined Giygas. HEY, The thing about Nintendo and why they have such a depth in their games and storyline that makes the game feel good is Love. Love is not Killing, Beating, or Destorying. Love is learning to forgive, accept and cherish. Don't take every day for granite and hate. Nintendo always seems to share love through some games. In Mother 3 they related to how technology is taking over our lives, and its true! More and more people watch TV on a sunny day then going outside.
