i think CCP just started a revolution in the gaming industry. to give players these kinds of powers to influence the virtual world they are playing in is just incredible. i mean the EVE universe is a pretty complex, unlimited universe as it is, with players controlling economy, geography..etc this game means that the geeks will no longer control EVE with all their skills in business and corp management. now they will have to compete with the players who are good at shooting as well.

DUST 514 and EVE are in the same Server, same Universe, every action made in DUST 514 is going to be in real time in EVE and viceversa.

Is not just another FPS, is a revolutionary MMO game only for PS3.

You can specialize if you want, you can make Corps with PC Players or just DUST 514 Players, along with a lot features like Cross Game Chat between PC Players and PS3 Players for any kind of activity, you can specialize in different positions, not only as a Mercenary.

Ps3 does amazing exclusives and having recently bought an xbox I know it plays much better multiplatform games and had a smoother online experience.. I would Imagine some systems in areas similar to incursions will have this tied to Dust. Would be awesome to see them make it work some how with 0.0 battles. Would add a whole new aspect to changing sovereignty of systems I would imagine. Pretty cool concept. Would be cooler if we could also talk to our PS3 counterparts as well.

The main reason why CCP chose Sony was due to the legal aspects between Microsoft and Sony. Originaly DUST 514 was for both Xbox and PS3, but Microsoft wanted sole rights over the servers and for it to be stand alone from Eve. Sony on the other hand are more open for this type of game play.

Also the PS3 is a far better console graphics and stability wise.

Eve is a player run space mmo where players take command of spaceships and fight other players in a variety of different combat situations. One of the many reasons battles occur in eve is for the control of territory. CCP want to incorporate planets into the game and have players fight for control over them
