  • Good video! I loved the rhythm section! I could almost feel the handlebars bobbing up and down in my hands! Hopefully someday I can afford my own Fuel EX. Until then I'll be watching this.

  • O.K, for all of you who keep arguing here, the EX line of bikes are all trail. They are designed for aggressive trail riding and small jumps. They sit somewhere in between being a XC and free ride bike.

  • vote up if you hate the song

  • weres that bit at the start filmed

  • This video answered many questions for me :D thanks

  • I'm in Hawaii and have an 2011 ex8. Bikes take a bad beating out here and all the guys I know with ex bikes are happy with them. I even know guys who race exterra on theirs and do really well with them. I wouldn't do really BIG jumps on it but for most of what you come across you should be good.

  • i went mountain boarding up there and fell in knettles

  • yeah kinnoull hill is great go there quite alot live in st madoes so quite easy to get to

  • Nice vid and nice bike.

    2:20 R.I.P Bridge Jump.

  • Como se llama la cancion?

  • thanks

  • where is this?

  • its so ga that the jumps have bn takin down...the forestry commission is so gay cos they r doin nothing!!!

  • hey how much was this bike and does it hold up strong

  • great bike!!

how does it take to this kind of beating?

  • Just ordered my 2010 fuel EX 8 and the waiting is killing me

  • hey where in perth is that

  • @awesomexvideosx near the psychiatric hospital (because anyone that goes on the track is a looney!) nah just joking but its near there

  • Like the flow of the video, vice job for bike cam shot, music makes it.

  • Nice job on the vid. Love the POV aspect.

  • OMGBF

  • how did u manage to mount a camera?please tell me!!

  • yes i have seen one. And u have no idea whar your talking about cuz the coilair supreme is under the enduro/freeride on the kona site but that is deffinitly an am bike not fr. but seriouly u dont have any idea what ur talking about do u? a xc having almost 6 inch travel? like come on

  • I realise its a trail bike. If you fancy sending me over some cash so I can add a downhill bike and a jump bike to my collection, I'm all for it. Until then its gonnae have to put up with it as I've got a wife and family to keep as well as buying bikes. I ride mostly trails, but with a few jumps thrown in for fun. If I cant take it on a few jumps here and there, I might as well have stuck with my old 300quid hardtail which put up with all I could throw at it for 10years without any complaints.

  • Well technically its a cat 4 bike which is like 'all mountain', so it can be used for small jumps ect...

  • you should have waited for the gary fisher roscoe which i have, more designed for the things your doing!

  • what i dont get is how many people do BIG drops with hardtails/streetbikes/bmx and dont worry a bit about their bikes braking... and suspension bikes are more sensetive?? I'm wondering how far i can really go with my TREK EX 7 2009.

  • id say mak out a drop at 4 or 5 feet for an ex7

  • agreed

  • I want one of those. lol

  • go get it then ^^

  • wow r u kiding me? the fuel ex line is not xc thats the top fuel. fuel ex is am 5.5 inch travel = am-light free ride. and yes the remedy is what trek calls there am bike but its a free ride bike. an most and if not all xc bikes have around 3 sometimes 4 inch travel ya im just soo sick of people mixing up the name top fuel= xc fuel ex= am

  • budd do u work for a trek dealer?

  • no but i know like 20 people who have the bike ex 7-9 and they al use it for am and in the trek warenty the fuel ex is under am not c so it has to am

  • trek has the same warrenty on every bike.. carbon fiber or not... life time ont he fram due to manufactueres defect.. so if you using the EX on all mountain and u snap it in half cuz its not designed for that.. then its your fault.. and its 1 year on parts from shimano

  • no they dont top fuel is under xc warenty fuel ex is under am the the session is under the dh warenty. well i guess me and like how many hundreds of ppl who have the bike and use it for am think its am

  • same warrenty for everybike... downhill to road bikes... i own a EX 9 and i know its for XC

  • k what ever im not going to argue with u if u like riding an am bike for xc then go ahead but i have never heard of an xc bike having 5.5 inches of travel. your the first person i know who has a fuel ex and rides xc on it

  • have u ever seen the Kona Coilair supreme? or even ridden it? cuz thats made for XC and climbing

  • it even says in the manual that 'the wheels should only leave the ground for breif persiods of time'

  • @laan123: I agree with you. Just about every place you go the EX line of bikes are categorized as all mountain. I guess they all can't be wrong.

  • @laan123 The Fuel EX line has 120mm of suspension travel. There are 25.4mm in one inch. The Fuel EX has 4.7 inches of travel not 5.5.

  • @buchner16 Yhe Trek Fuel Ex 8 is capable of handling this terrain this aint downhill its still XC nub

  • good video, but the accompanying music is awesome, can't stop listeneing to it

  • i like the video, but a tip for your riding, don't look straight down right in front of you. It's a bad habit and not great for filming, the viewer has a hard time what is going on.

  • Cheers for the comment. I know what you mean about far looking ahead of you when riding. Don't worry, the camera was mounted on the stem, not my head thats why it was so low down. Have to move it for next vid I think!

  • love the video, just don't like the music. lol

    keep making more though!

  • What you talkin about, the music is the best part of the video!
