C'mon seriously give me freaking access to the WNDR3400 firewall rules. Is my damn computer and is already secure so you don't have to take away the freaking option. The router freaking gives me sh*t connection on Xbox live. I need to allow the Xbox to get the best connection. I already tried port forwarding and it doesn't do squat, it actually makes the connection worst. Seriously release and update that would give people that option. I would get a no one but I'm not rich.
@PoKeR123484 on your virgin media connection, type 192.168.0.1 in internet explorer. login with details (usually ushername: admin Password: changeme click advanced options and then scroll down, option for modem mode should be there, activate it and apply.
If I wanted to use this for xbox live...would it be better wired to the back...or a wireless feed btw I have the slim black 360 with built in wireless
I bought the n600 and i use it for xbox live, and i get the worst connection ever. Can anyone who has this, please tell me if this is a great router for computers AND gaming, it would really help me out a lot.
I've notice that my gigabit speed almost doubled from the 3700... a solid 5.97 MB/s vs 3.40 MB/s... Now I'm able to stream a 1080p movie and upload large files without any hiccups. Only one negative... it's too pretty to hide away.
