Re: Red Cliff Trailer(Japan Version) by GawyfeRibihuc
Well I agree the Japanese Version to be better, although we are talking about a trailer of an amazing Chinese Film. I also love the fact that Japan is not only investing in the movie but also has Japanese Actors (that speak Chinese) in the film. It's good that there's a sense of respect now.
I guess it's many thanks to John Woo and the proud Chinese history (very old yet fascinating). I guess it's about time to show the world a little taste of Eastern History.
@SAITOXIII It's mostly due to the fact that although politically, Japan hasn't really had too much respect for current china, the japanese think of *ancient* china as romantic and epic, like europe and the western shores are in favor of the greek or roman empire so to speak. It's quite intriguing to say the least. This film does deserve a lot of attention from not only all of the asian countries, but also the world!
This japanese version does not seem to do the film justice - with multiple references to MI:2, which hasn't got much to do with the general ambience of the film at all... besides that fact that John Woo is the director of both films...
I have noticed Japanese trailers are always really good. Check out their trailers of other films and you will see. The editing is so perfect. Gets the essence of the film.
well,chinese version is better=)beacause that's chinese style,more realistic))
