@Squawk7600 Minden Airport is at an elevation of around 4,700 feet and we went to the tops of the mountains that tower over Minden so probably around 8,000 foot level or so. The guy said if we went over 10,000 feet then we would need oxygen however we did not go over 10,000. I am not sure what altitude they let us go at. We were in the air for 45 minutes and I shot 45 minutes worth of video but I had to edit it down to fit with in the 15 minute youtube upload limit.
wow amazing video, I knew carson city was butt ugly but I didn't realize how butt-ugly it was! JUST KIDDING thanks for posting the amazing footage. Also, good music but what did it sound like in there, I would imagine a glider to be very quiet? Or was there too much wind noise? THANKS!
My camera picked up a fair amount of wind noise but over all it was not to loud inside the glider. I did not need ear plugs or anything. I did have to put a parachute on prior to the flight.
Great job!

Nice video, especially the mountain shots. At what altitude did you cut loose from the tow plane, and how long were you in the air?

@CoastStarlight11 I'd like the comfort of knowing I had a parachute on...well that if if I knew how and when to use it.
