I played this on double bass at EYSM and fell in love with it so much that I did it for an audition into the top youth orchestra at the time. Love it.
i just did a concert in thurcroft in the young synthonia string orchestra today and played the first movement from this suite, its an amazing piece of music
Again, you've really caught the 'in your face' spirit of this piece. It is meant to be like driving a car with a gearbox but no clutch - enjoy the clashes of the false relations and bare harmonies. Fantastic.
im playing this on wednesday for my skool's everyweek recital. :)

Questa musica ricorda la canzone 'amor che attendi' dell'italiano Caccini(11550-1618), sicuramente il musicista norvegese ne è stato influenzato

Damnit Warlock, why couldn't you have written more to this movement?
Absolutely divine music right here. By far my favorite movement of the suite.

Sounds good Wesside233! You will have to post a video of yourself! I imagine this would suit brass instruments quite well actually!

Any music in this renaissance style sounds totally badass on any brass!

I agree! I've attempted to write in this kind of 'tudor' style in the past. With varying degrees of success I have to say!

It's amazing how he captures the antique style! Same applies to the pavane, haven't heard the rest yet!
