The more this film goes on, the more Lyra becomes annoying. The Lyra in the book is obviously meant to be rough around the edges (despite her parentage), but the actress is obviously a posh girl trying to do a non-posh accent and failing miserably.

Right I refuse to watch any more of this film. They cut 90% of the good bits out the film. As if they made the bears in wusses.. my imagination produces tougher bears than that when thinking of little pink bear cubs.
