The video can be subtitled throughout, so that learners can read the sentences as they listen. They can of course cover the sentences first while listening, and then look at them subsequently.

2. Background music is distracting and a hindrance to learning, and can be avoided. Learners can play their own music if they wished to.

Most people are unaware of the derogatory connotations of the slang "jap" versus the unoffensive "jpn" shortening of Japanese.

While the use of "jap" is ignorant, it is not being used in a racist manner by his post, so don't have a seizure.
