How do you even know there was a Tech. inspection at this track? When tracks run street car days there isnt any tech. inspection required..only for cars running less than 11sec with proper cages, and 11second cars cant run on street car days. There is a reason to why he got kicked out. If you watch the staging guy, he is telling the driver in the left lane NOT to go, he is motioning for him to wait. left lane rolls forward, so the neon starts roasting them thinking its time to stage. neither of them were paying attention at one of the most important times.

I think he threw you off the track because when a FWD car does a burnout in the water box, the underside of the car gets covered in water. That water on the underside of the car then gets dripped all the way down the track when you make a pass.. This limits the traction of the track surface, making it dangerous for others.

Some tracks perfer the waterbox guy to direct all movement, and judging by how serious that guy took his job it was probably the first one. I know tracks can't be built too close to the population because of noise levels, but I've never heard of tracks with volume limits. I'm gade mine doesn't.
@87lancerguy Yes at a race track. Two of the tracks i go to have decibel limits during the street legal nights b/c they are in the middle of a built up area. The people that live around the track complain about the noise.

There used to a 1/4 mile track in Carlsbad, CA it was there for like 40 years and then a bunch of people who just moved in next to the track bitched and moaned loud enough about the noise and the ONLY 1/4 mile track in San Diego county got shut down. Then all these stupid people wonder why the street racing problem got 100 times worse and kids were wrapping themselves around trees every month!!
yup i know all about it actually, we had the same issue, people complained about the noise from our track and got it shut down and when everyone started racing in the streets and people started complaining about that the street racers went to some city council sessions and got it setup that there was going to be a new track built and no houses were allowed to be occupied within a mile of the track on all sides, it's amazing what getting involved will do for you

@87lancerguy Yes at a race track. Two of the tracks i go to have decibel limits during the street legal nights b/c they are in the middle of a built up area. The people that live around the track complain about the noise.

There used to a 1/4 mile track in Carlsbad, CA it was there for like 40 years and then a bunch of people who just moved in next to the track bitched and moaned loud enough about the noise and the ONLY 1/4 mile track in San Diego county got shut down. Then all these stupid people wonder why the street racing problem got 100 times worse and kids were wrapping themselves around trees every month!!

yup i know all about it actually, we had the same issue, people complained about the noise from our track and got it shut down and when everyone started racing in the streets and people started complaining about that the street racers went to some city council sessions and got it setup that there was going to be a new track built and no houses were allowed to be occupied within a mile of the track on all sides, it's amazing what getting involved will do for you

Cus my neighbor told me when he was in germany someone had the same problem, they told him either get a cage or get it off the track..

@l3to998 they can be quick. just like any other car. but subie's aren't really much to talk about. they are badass cars done get me wrong but if i was going to spend that much on a 4 cylinder awd car id get an evo. and there is no doubt that built ass srt-4 would have waxed that honda, but if both were built pretty equally the extremely lighter honda would walk it. no doubt. srt-4's can be absolute beast but the weight really hurts it. i guess it comes down to preference.

@l3to998 for a series of reasons really. for one, in my area the srt is a very common car to see. 2nd, im not familiar with the engine of the srt. 3rd, i have always been a fan of the evo and they are rare to see. there arent any in my area so it would be cool to rock one. dont get me wrong though, i would drive a srt-4 but i would rather have the evo because i have loved the cars since my childhood. plus if i was going to ditch my honda i would want my car to be awd. i just think it'd be fun
