Personally, I'd find it much more helpful if you built one, instead of just showing a completed one off on video. All I can conclude is, that it indeed works the way you say, I didnt learn how to build one in this Tutorial.

It may be your own, but it is not a hidden door by any means. At 0:55 you see it folded up and as you walk by you can see that it is obviously a piston door. In addition I wouldn't use stairs for a hidden door. If you have a cobble stone caste, and you want a hidden place, if you see stairs on a wall you'll know it's piston door. I would stick with making the original and using regular cobble stone (or what ever it is made of) blocks so that it's an actual hidden and secret door.

Pistons are difficult to make in Custom Adventure Maps, you end up using alot more wiring space then intended. But I bet this door might be one of the most seen, next to hidden bridges.

@RobinlvGamer  Pistons are very difficult because of all the wiring, I agree. I've burned at least two hours into wiring a small piston maze, and it's not even that great. I'm gonna re-implement it in a larger scale later. Ugh, redstone ftw. =/

@RobinlvGamer actaully i came up with a piston design that small enough and uses a reasonable amount of wiring it also simple enough to figure out only draw back if it even is a drawback is that the pistons are in the ceiling not the walls so it looks slightly different like a sideways mojang door still looks good though and it takes up not very much space at all id say its size is about 6x7x8 or 9 idk i deleted the world with it already lol but its pretty compactand works great
