Islam has to deny the crucifixion of Jesus because, unlike the Jews, they DO accept Him as a prophet--even acknowledging his virgin birth. So, unless they deny the crucifixion, they are much closer to Christianity than is comfortable for them. The Quran in denying the crucifixion denies 1st century Roman historians, 1st century Jewish historical accounts as well as the Christian eye-witnesses to the event recorded in the gospels AND in extra-biblical documents.

As per this generalized statement a prophet may come to any line of ancestry. If you say yes, than why not Muhammad and Ishmael can be prophets. Sarah was a free woman, while Hagar was a slave woman. It is God who creates some one free and some one as slave. Or it is men who capture some other men and make them salves. If slavery is human act than why the status of Sarah was higher in the eyes of God than that of Hagar?
Yes, Ishmael he was lawful but not Anointed. Isaac was the Miracle Child and the Anointed one promised by God. Maybe your looking at it from the wrong end, maybe Sarah was closer to God and Hagar didn't care for God?

So it is possible that a person in the lineage of Hagar and Ishmael could have cared for God so much that God has chosen him for the status of messenger hood.

I can only go by what is taught, i see you like to put your words in my mouth. If you think Hagar should qualify that's your choice but not all descendants are prophets in the case between Isaac and Ishmael, Isaac was the Anointed Prophet then "HIS" son Jacob was next in line. Ishmael and his descendants were of a different branch. In saying that Abraham is a descendant from Adam, so is Isaac his son and the message would be the same and Ishmael would have to honor Isaac's Anointing.

His linage will also confess the same Truth. There is not one shred of evidence that we have Ishmael teachings or any of his descendants, Why? If he was a Prophet where are his teachings? Just because they have not written about Hindus, or Chinese and other people living other corners of the world we can not assume that nothing was happening during that time period. In the similar way, Isaac’s descendent did not write about Ishmael and his descendent. But because of this we can not assume that there was nothing to write.

@Adonomos In the bible we read about many neighboring nations of the Jews like Babylonians, Egyptians, Levites and Canaanites, etc. They were not serving the YHWH. Actually Jews were not writing history of the world. They were writing scriptures beneficial for the purpose of their religion. To restore man back to God, the Son of man had to live a perfect life in the flesh, overcoming all desires and submitting the flesh totally as a servant to God. So, unless they deny the crucifixion, they are much closer to Christianity than is comfortable for them. The words of the Lord are perfect in truth and justice; there is NONE who can change His words (Surah 6:115). Also see Suras 6:34, 10:64, and 50:28,29. But then Allah (or Muhammad?) sees the need to exchange some of them for "better ones" (Suras 2:106, 16:101). And it is not for ignorant people to question Allah because of such practices! The promise was to be with Sarah, Abraham's wife. This was Isaac there son, Isaac's son was Jacob!
Ishmael is not the son of Abraham and his lawful wife Sarah. Jacob is not the son of Ishmael.
So you can see that Ismael is not from this line. Then Mohammad is made void and false as a prophet.

You can not have and eat your cake both. If Ishmael is illegitimate, it means that Abraham is an adulterer. If he is adulterer than how he could be the patriarch of all the prophets of bible.

Polygamy was permitted in the days of Abraham, and Sarah gave Hagar to Abraham as a concubine. So what Abraham did was not adultery! Adultery is when one goes with another mans wife.
Adam is the first and from him the elected generations spread the message of God and continued by the time Jesus came, it was already spread throughout the known world, after Christ it went to all the four corners of the world. As earlier, if one did not hear the message they would be judged accordingly.

Sarah was a free woman, while Hagar was a slave woman. It is God who creates some one free and some one as slave. Or it is men who capture some other men and make them salves. If slavery is human act than why the status of Sarah was higher in the eyes of God than that of Hagar?

Yes, Ishmael he was lawful but not Anointed. Isaac was the Miracle Child and the Anointed one promised by God. Maybe your looking at it from the wrong end, maybe Sarah was closer to God and Hagar didn't care for God?

@Adonomos Great, so you agree that Hagar, her son Ishmael, and their decadents are not inherently disqualified for the messenger hood. It is the care for God of a person that is important. So it is possible that a person in the lineage of Hagar and Ishmael could have cared for God so much that God has chosen him for the status of messenger hood.
You said “let the Will Of God be done.” It is possible that God had willed that Muhammad (PBUH) should be a messenger.

I can only go by what is taught, i see you like to put your words in my mouth. If you think Hagar should qualify that's your choice but not all descendants are prophets in the case between Isaac and Ishmael, Isaac was the Anointed Prophet then "HIS" son Jacob was next in line. Ishmael and his descendants were of a different branch. In saying that Abraham is a descendant from Adam, so is Isaac his son and the message would be the same and Ishmael would have to honor Isaac's Anointing.

His linage will also confess the same Truth. There is not one shred of evidence that we have Ishmael teachings or any of his descendants, Why? If he was a Prophet where are his teachings? Just because they have not written about Hindus, or Chinese and other people living other corners of the world we can not assume that nothing was happening during that time period. In the similar way, Isaac’s descendent did not write about Ishmael and his descendent. But because of this we can not assume that there was nothing to write.

Actually Jews were not writing history of the world. They were writing scriptures beneficial for the purpose of their religion. If Quran says that Ishmael was a prophet, while bible does not say it, we can not conclude that bible is right. It may be Quran which is right. So the logic does not support this argument that does not say that Ishmael was a prophet hence he was not.

By doing so when the evilness of the land killed the flesh of Christ, they killed a faultless man. According to the bible, It was woman (Eve) who disobeyed the God, man (Adam) only listened to his wife. If Jesus carried woman's DNA who was the cause of disobedience, than how he could have been sinless. Sin must have transfered to him through Mary.

Even if Jesus was called as Immanuel, does it prove that he was God. No. Elijah was a prophet in old testament. Elijah means "the Lord is my God". Does it means Elijah was God. @Adonomos Why Christian always try to persuade Muslims that bible has not been changed. On the contrary, the contemporary bible scholars does agree that bible has been changed. For example see the work of Bruce Metzger or Bart D. Ehrman.
Messiah mean “anointed one”, and Jesus was exactly so and nothing more than that. Jews expectation were also about a Messiah which is described in the Muslim sources.

The Holy Bible is Testimonies of what many witnessed and experienced.
This is why there is the Old Testament the foretelling of the Messiah and the New Testament the Telling of Messiah. So of coarse you will have variants in small degrees but the message is the same and also to be expected in translations as well.
The Quran has variants as well, there are three different versions! Look it up yourself.
Messiah, yes means Anointed. Jesus means Savior which adds up to Anointed Savior.

@Adonomos Can we say Muhammad’s belief as one man belief? I would say “No.” Before the death of prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the number of his total followers was about hundred thousand. These people suffered and die for their belief. So it can not be termed as one man’s belief.

Regarding your question of one man version of the truth, it does not make a difference that how many people are telling about the truth, if the truth can be objectively verified. For example if only man says that earth is spherical, and he gives you objective evidences for that, than you do not have any reason to reject the truth on the basis that it is stated by only one person.

Christian have become the most vocal defenders of Jews today, so they should know that it is primarily Jews that run the most anti-Christian organizations in America (e.g. ACLU). 1. at 14:00 the spirit is not a resurrected body. when the resurrection will take place, we will receive a resurrected body.
2. Luke 24:37-39 jesus is saying "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have." why is he showing the hands and feet? for footprint and fingerprint? or for the wounds from crucifixion. read also John 20:24-29.

@halakukhan there is a difference in both those references. The term "resurrection" can have different meanings so it is imperative that the meanings do not create a different intention than that handed to us by the prophets. Jesus has a "bodily" resurrection which differs from that of a rising of the spirit or "resurection"...from death the person comes alive, so through death we humans are resurrected into our spirit form ....Jesus on the other hand was resurrected bodily.
