  • Mini = Hair Dressers Car... Mini Cooper S is the lads car!

  • nice bor! my mini is a 280whp! just took it to north carolina for the dragon!

  • Nice video!!

  • @ALTAMINIPERFORMANCE

Thanks, I dont have the MINI anymore, but you guys are awesome vendors and sell some amazing product.

  • Nice run! I'm hoping I'll be getting the same results soon.

I have an Alta 15% pulley, Minspeed CAI, One Ball Exhaust, and a TSW Engine Damper. I'm hoping to break the 200whp barrier soon. Just gotta get a tune.

  • gay music

  • mute button....or skip to the part where there is no music...sorry I didn't play hannah montana for you.

  • Nice Numbers Mushadd, I seen you around in NAM.

Im getting ready for my Cams, Injectors, and Tune from Hubie this month, but i just did a dyno run to see where i am at right now. I got 185WHP, and 173TQ with a 17% Pulley, Header, Zoomer Exhaust, and a K&N TYPHOON CAI.

Can't wait to see how/what mine runs, Check my channel for what i got for my vids =]

    Nice Run Again

  • BS I did the same mods and came up with only 145HP. I think your dyno is a little optamistic!!

  • are you sure you have an S? MINI cooper S dyno 145-150 whp STOCK. maybe your car is broken. (check out my other videos. there is one on a completely different dyno where i got 202whp with a tune.)

  • I know what my car comes stock. BHP is useless, if you cant put it to the ground then dont concern yourself with it. My car made 150whp STOCK, and is now making 202.5WHP with just a pulley, intake, exhaust, and tune. or about 235BHP if you prefer...

  • by definition brake horse power is the power out put at the crank shaft. Power available at the road is generally 10% to 20% less than the engine's bhp rating due to coastdown losses, most of which are due to the vehicle's rubber tires and transmission losses

  • @mushaddiv fuck haters. Sick run bro.

  • stock should have been that number or even Higher.. maybe you were at high altitude? or weather? i have close to the same mods as his and i have 185hp

  • Do you know whats the % drivetrain loss for coop s?

  • Thanks mate, i was looking for that info quite some time. I'm putting mods on me coop s next spring, cheers.

  • Running a reduced pulley on its own isnt a good idea. Especially in hot weather.

You need better spark plugs like ngk/denso iridium plugs. You would be better off with a bigger intercooler aswell. Keeping the temps down is the most important thing witht the cooper s engine.

You may have got 192 whp on the dyno, if you do a few more runs with just a pully, your ecu will be dumping loads of fuel in at the top end to try and stop itself detonating. Therefore losing power.

  • i have colder plugs....

and larger intercoolers are a waste of money. theyre marketing is better than the actual results.

the car is going to be tuned by Jan in a few weeks, will be more than happy to post those results as i will have catback and 380cc injectors by then

  • Intercoolers are definately not a waste of money. The stock one is crap, im sure jan will tell you an intercooler would be a good idea. It wont make power but you will run lower iats which help the sc run better and the engine in general.

Jans w2a laminova intercooler sounds awesome.

Someone over here in the uk is having one fitted along with rmw head, headers, exhaust etc

  • As far as MINI's go the aftermarket intercoolers are basically more for show than anything else. The stock ecu and intercooler have no problem handling the 15% pulley.

    Nice run mushaddiv

  • so u no jan actually tell people to save money and stay away from them as they are exactly the same as the stock one maybe a bit thicker

  • its called a car wash

  • its called snow-covered streets and road salt. Your attempt to be funny = fail.

  • w2a is a different story, i'd love to have a setup like that. But dropping $800 on a alta or m7 intercooler just isn't worth it in my opinion.

  • M7 and alta are rubbish

The grs motorsport one is the one to have over here. Randy webb tested it a wgile back and it came out on top over all the other top mount intercoolers

  • Was this the car at Kanawha last night? Its a bad little ride. BTW if you didnt already know you got some good coverage on the WSAZ website.

  • i had pulley, gtt/janspeed manifold, alta cai, milltek cat back, gtt intercooler and my car came out at 200bhp @ the wheels and 234 @ the crank.

  • what size pulley? 15,17,or 19? and what were the final boost numbers? also, an ECU with dyno tune,(sounds like you already go the tune) would yield another 10hp at the crank at least...

  • With a pulley you should see 200bhp

    @ flywheel.

  • the 192hp is whp, factor in a 12-14% drivetrain loss, That puts bhp around 217.

  • PS the pulley netted me 24bhp.

  • how much quicker does it make your car to put a smaller pulley on

  • The car drives like a totally different machine. Most noticeable mod I've done to any car, EVER. Can't beat the $120 dollar price tag either.

  • ah great i might have to think about putting one on my car :-) is it hard to fit?

  • yes, unless you have access to a garage and are very mechanically inclined, i would leave it to a professional. you have to unmount the engine, and lift it out a bit to fit the pulley on. I had mine done at a shop for about $150.
