I'm trying to figure out the uniqueness of this fighting game. I mean every fighting game seems to have something distinguishable.

Street Fighter: Standard Fighter with hard to master but easy to play controls

Smash Bros: Platforming, Hazard Stages, and 4 player fighting madness all in 1!

Tekken: Juggling and combos

Mortal Kombat: Gore and Fatalities

KOF/Fatal Fury/AOF: Background and Foreground use

Virtua Fighter: Realistic fighting style

Soul Callibur: Mastering Weapons.

DarkStalkers: ???

@WegraX It would probably be of how it started the gameplay basics for the MVC series. And of course that means blocking in the air. Unless of course you mean solely this game and not it's sequels in which case I wouldn't know as I haven't played this one except 3.

as i remeber this was o good game it wasnt as popular as street fighter but it had some good characters demitri talbain the wolf morrigan felicia etc some of them are back in games like mvc3 which it is good im just wondering why is these games are still not availiable on psn? or better a remake of this with an online feature that should be good

Fuck did I ever hate Talbain. Always blocked everything and crouched low enough to the ground you would jump over him and miss.

@JDtheDrunk Compared to all the other versions of Gallon/Talbain, this one should be the most bearable. Gallon was shit in the original Darkstalkers game, mainly due to the fact his Beast Rush pushed him back at a disadvantage with most characters on block, and his EX Beast Cannon was one of two of his safe options. This would not be the case with future installments, as the Beast Cannon replaced the Beast Rush as a regular special move, and able to alternate in two directions.
