  • Robert Greene writes amazing books. I just finished a book called "Doing the Impossible" by Bet-David that reminded me of 48 Laws of Power. Just simpler and a faster read.

  • dis seems like a nice book niggaz a nigga like me needs to educate and shit know what im saying yea

  • Hendrix jammed plugged into Jack Bruces bass amp, played "Killing Floor", And blew Clapton off the stage, and stole a large portion of the influence and established his own title.

  • On law no.1, if the master is outshined, wouldn't that make the outshiner the master?

  • @robert1268 no since the master still holds the title and influence - war vs battle

  • i dont find these laws to be evil or decitefull at all. I find that they are more geared to protecting yourself from being taken advantage of. not revealling your entire essence is not deciteful or evil. people are, by nature, wired for self preservation and they will do whatever it takes to accomplish just that. the more poeple know about someone else the more they can gain from that person.

  • Power can bring money. money is not power. many of the people you see with both attained power first and then through the use of that pwoer attained money.

  • MONEY IS POWER

  • Don't ignore your conscience- do the right thing! Life is not a video game, if something is meant for you, hardwork, determination, positivity and a genuine respect for others will get you there.

  • I urge everyone reading/listening to this, to be selective in what information you take on board here. Some of this is helpful in achieving goals you may have set. But a lot of this is focussed on playing childish mind games with people- which might help you reach a goal but in the long run will ultimately leave you sad, lonely and unfulfilled.

  • What may be for others, may not be for you...... period!!!!

  • it's funny everybody talking about this book but its a fact that this a parrallel between coorperate america and the hood. dont think so do your research!

  • 48 laws to becoming a devil

  • 48 ways to be an asshole

  • Can someone please tell me the name of the song I have to know!

  • @Vpopov81 By using a program called Tunatic i found out that this piece of music is "Sinfonia in C Major Larghetto" by Vivaldi

  • "When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace" Jimi Hendrix

  • @munozjose87 lmfao! Nice.

  • The dude who wrote this book is a loser. Maybe when humans were primitive they needed to act with such deception but nowadays, you cant get away with this stuff. You might as well just shoot your enemy in the back and kick his dog instead of following this advice, seriously!!

  • why does this seem evil?

  • em i the only one havin trouble reading an trying to listen at the time ? =/

  • Then check The Mind of a Leader Machiavelli...

  • I don't have any enemies :(...

  • @princecourtland find a way to make enemies. matter a fact fuck you!

  • @munozjose87 thankyou it feels so good to have that type of comment awwwwww Hate is in thee air lol

  • i love it its genius

  • & those who don't exhibit strong naivety

  • PEOPLE WHO USE THE 48 LAWS OF POWER ARE WEAK MINED LOSERS TRYING TO BE LIKE SOCIOPATHS

  • lol

  • oh lord...only place this shit comes in handy is when your playing World of Warcraft

  • @cavallinos This is real life, dawg. If you don't get it, you're not being real. How many people work at Microsoft, Apple, Goodle, Amazon? Yet, do you know those brilliant engineers who spend 90 hrs/week to make if possible for you to use computer, surf the net, watch online videos? No, for all your technological conveniences you would credit Bill Gates, Steve Jobs... There is a deep meaning to this rule.

  • a gemini wrote this or a scorpio

  • Your not using this book right or your not willing to change your sheep perception on life , this book will make u aware of a deciver n seperate the sheep from wolves, moeny is jst a worthless peace of paper to the elite, ,, sell you dreams that never come true , this book is teaching you to use your own head and be aware of your suroundings and dont let a another man take control of your mind and to not be a follower, be your own man n make your own choices to power or ruin.

  • @KushClouds602 I couldn't have said it any better myself

  • @moneyfive Thanks bro

  • people should recognize that these "Laws" are just opinions not facts

  • @chrisistrippi i have seen these laws secretly applied by a psych phD in social situations as a demonstration...he used every single one over a course of a year...it was the craziest experience i have ever had, I seriously felt like a blind man who could see...he was able to make everybody respect and love him while he manipulated, used them and turned them against eachother for fun...a few smart ones got mad but he regained their trust..and w/ no looks or cash he always had PERFECT TEN GIRLS!!!

  • Well the biggest misconception of this book is he isn't trying to make you follow the book word for word much like the bible it's filled with metaphors it's up to you to decide what to take out of it and actually use in your own life

  • @AsItWasWritten1 exactly

  • much like life, there is truth and wisdom in these chapters...

    but there are also lies.

  • This is the problem people who have no belief in human nature have no trust.the duplicity they secretly believe to be the motive of all other, and not just people who believe as they do stems from their own belief in petty things of the lower self so therefore it is they who perpetuate it because they have lost faith. Also this this is the problem with religious conservatism because it collectivizes people where as pelagianism is more a suitable religious view to accord with praxiology

  • you see this attitude is the problem of people who have no belief in human nature

  • I can't even watch all this, it feels like I'm being brainwashed into evil...ugh. Glad I didn't buy this book.

  • @coleulm LOL, if you feel like your being brainwashed a good question to ask is why does your brain feel dry? Maybe this little bit of water can cleanse the idea that you might get betrayed one day...there is nothing to fear. This book is actually great because it further explain why you have "friends" in the first place. Everyone is a stranger until you see them more than one time. Then they become "familiar" not friend yet but acknowledge.

  • @elloMello27 your comment is entirely too long to even stem from the simple comment i left. your retaliation is uncaused for, like seriously. you didn't even address the subject lol. better luck next time, i guess. have a good one.

  • @coleulm the first half of my comment was said as a joke to get you to keep reading the book and not feel "Brain-Washed." (^_^) My point of view is simply saying keep your friends close and enemies closer by knowing your enemies better than your friends. (Sometimes Friends Become Foe's Because There Was Unbalanced Trust.)

  • @elloMello27 Why you're under the assumption that I've read the book, I have no idea. Maybe you didn't pay attention to my comment. I said I'm glad I did not buy this book. I have never even seen the book, let alone read it. Or even began to...Thank God. But this was like 3 months ago, let's just let it go.

  • presidential training ? fucking bastards

  • The Art of becoming the Dark Lord...

  • Actually, its not 48 ways to lose all your friends. You'll find this sort attract 'friends' quite ably...as they have become masters of unsuspected manipulation.

  • Catholic twaddle at its finest.

One will find any way imaginable to elevate the errant and denigrate the valid.

Strange how those little bald headed men in orange robes carrying begging bowls teach more truth, eschew more power, and are rarely attacked even by criminals, getting further along than the common man or the power monger combined.

One Law is all you need...and it is not written anywhere. It must be sought out.

  • THIS IS THE BEST MENTAL METHODE TO TURN PEOPLE AGAINST PEOPLE THIS IS THE REAL REASON THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISSES EXISTS A WAY OF HUMAN EXTERMINATION VERY SLOW TRY TO IMAGINE JUST THINK

  • @petrecristian35 You may want to look up the terms: "grammar," "spelling," and "punctuation". I'm not saying you need to follow the laws above but, damn, I have a feeling one might have a point for you. Such as: ALL CAPS MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A FUCKING RETARD AND PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE YELLING.

  • actually I am not aware of the name. It was part of the audio book

  • what is the name of the classical music in the beginning of this video clip?

  • 48 laws of power i fuckin love it you have now made another boss in this world lol

  • Wow! This is what happened and still is happening to the Afrikan "Hue"man.

  • this should be retitled "48 ways to lose all your friends"

  • @eviltwinrecords the difference between a friend and an enemy is a lot less than you think

  • @eviltwinrecords Lose friends? I have won more friends than I can keep up with this way. Not just friends, friends that sometimes follow me with a cultist demeanor. If anything this is too powerful. I have followed many of these rules without knowing I was. Now, I have to agree that it's effective and dangerous because unfortunately this IS reality. As evil as it may be.

  • @eviltwinrecords actually if you come at life with in a position of strength you will have more and better quality friends. And you will be a better friend to be around. Your comment was straight from the hip.

  • @tdarnold wow you're a sociopath.

  • Comment removed

  • @tdarnold yeah you wrote 'and you favourite videos about how to pick up hot girls'.BUT then you saw the video and realised it was a parody video not some laws of seduction you'd like to watch.

  • @eviltwinrecords

That's the point. You have no friends in this life. It's all a ruse.

  • @eviltwinrecords 48 ways to lose all your LOSER friends.

  • @eviltwinrecords

When you find yourself without power, you will most likely find yourself without friends...unless you have found a true one...I myself have not

  • @eviltwinrecords no, this is the key to many friends, you must share your power,

  • @eviltwinrecords As a matter of fact the book says your friends are always the one to do you in, while your enemies respect you.

  • @eviltwinrecords yeah don't play power games with friends you want to keep..eventually they will think you have issues or you're a fake friend trying to screw them over or something...play these games in social circles where there are people who threaten you in some way or another

  • @eviltwinrecords I had many friends, numbering in the hundred's when I was young, they were all civilians of course, now I dont consider none as my friends. The only people who have the deceny to be called my friends are those who I served with in battle, and yet there more like my brothers not friends. Dont put to much emphasize on "friends".

  • @eviltwinrecords ORR 48 WAYS TO GET POWER OVER THEM

  • @eviltwinrecords Part of being powerful is losing all friends and gaining acquaintances. It's lonely at the top.

  • @cjackson013 Who wants to be powerful and lonely... don't let all this bullshit cloud your mind about what life is really about. Appreciate every moment you get on this beautiful planet...

  • @eviltwinrecords Some people gain great happiness through power. May sound sick but just how it is, I don't like it anymore than you do.

  • when you embrace the things that you fear you will conquer the most universal set back. now i think the things that i use to fear are working for me now.they obey my commands and i control them

  • This seems to be about how to get power and end up hated. Practicianers of this will possibly end up murdered. Some of it seems true but skewed. Law 2: It's true some friends (incl. family) will be aroused envy, and I've experienced how critically nasty that can be. I found former enemies to be just as destructive when envious but get away with it because its actually you thats trying to gain trust. The enemy gets a free ride.

  • @Jeorney you obviously havent studied this book through and through

  • @purehotup No I haven't studied the book. What have I missed? Are you saying the book is an exposé?

  • @Jeorney The 48 Laws of Power will show you how world politics works. And business. And, to some extent, your own life. Even if you don't apply these ideas you'll know how they work and defend yourself against them if they're used against you.

    Yes, it's a worth-while read.

  • @bobbygnosis I expressed the posibility of defence in another thread, but as somebody replied, it will be a reactive-defence to aggression which, all else being equal, is losing situation. So basically your forced to play the same power games if you have the will for it. Sounds like a recipe for pandemonium to me.

  • @bobbygnosis 2) Take law 2 for instance. Would you seriously consider finding a way to make enemies if you have none. Would a former enemy be foolish enough to hired by you? I would never consider working for somone who was a former enemy, even if we became friends. I would look to them to prove themselves to me, rather than the other way around. Unless, of course, I was the original offender but even that would be a temporary situation to redress the balance.

  • @Jeorney I do not take this book to be a Bible for Behavior. It is, in my opinion, a guide and nothing more. Some of it was nonsense and some of it was relevant. All disagreements I had with it aside, I learned a lot from it. What else is there, really?

    Peace and love, man.

  • @Jeorney And when I say 'guide' I mean that as an intellectual filter through which to examine not only my own behavior, but the behavior of others as well. A power play involves, in society, a minimum of two parties. Sometimes you're the party being acted on.

    Peace and love - really.

  • all the examples he used in the book (with perhaps the exception of Elizabeth) all FELL from power in a rather ugly way.. no one can hold on to that much "power" and escape unscathed

  • see its funny how some people think its snake moves but its people out here that are natrually manipulative and this prepares u for your own mistakes... this makes everything so clear now

  • ......the training of a Sith Lord

  • @OctoBox LOL

  • @OctoBox lol seriously

  • An excellent, well-written book.

  • THANK U VERY MUCH ROBERT GREENE. U OPEN MY GIFT..WE LUV U..MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMWHA!

  • fuck all these snake manouvers use your head follow your instinct

  • These games are for those that have no game. Nerdy hater shit.

  • these laws are for gaining power and have nothing to do with sustaining it, thus, this book is for weak and disliked ppl, lol

  • @NoxDeadly .....Law 03

  • @8314425157 is what?

  • @NoxDeadly ....1:22

  • @8314425157 wat r u showin me

  • If you have no enemies find a way to make some? wtf lmao

  • @drollins86 lmao, I kno right, seems kinda over the top

  • The audio is wayyy behind!! And the laws/video is moving soo fast! Its hard to listen to the speaker talk about LAW1 while reading LAW 8.

  • CHOOSE between right and wrong. All these rules go against righteousness.

  • @lbjoshbal Righteousness dosent pay

  • @Raspout1981 lol all right.

  • @Raspout1981 hahaha, well the wages of sin is death. So what is your point?

  • @ATOM09 Well...you will die too even if you never sin im pretty sure of that...what's your point ?

  • It's all about 33 Strategies of War...

  • Please, everybody, stop pretending you are using this for "self-defense" everybody wants power. Power is freedom, some people have more power than others that is a fact of life and you can choose to be weak or strong. Nobody is an altruist.

  • how to make an enemy? make a friend first.

  • Now, that I feel I carry some of these traits of laws natually in my daily life. I have to get this book soon.

  • i dont even reveal that i have and studied this books contents as it puts people on edge. i dont use it to manipulate i use it for defense against those who would try to coherce and manipulate me. then i play the sucker to catch one, i seem dumber than my mark, that is the extent of my deceit.

  • Does anyone have The 50the Law on here complete chapters?

  • @redhawkfire i been lookin for that to and i dont see it

  • @redhawkfire The 50th Law is weak compared to his older books. It's just a big pep talk on great it is to be fearless and independent. It's a nice wrap-up to his work, the dessert after the main course.

  • I herd that song by busta rimes. Give me some more some 90

  • @repenphx What was the name of the song?

  • can anyone tell me what this music is?

  • Comment removed

  • most of this is pretty manipulative, you will probably attract needy and fake people in your life with some of this stuff.

E.g. law 13, asking for help from an ally: if somebody'd ask me for help but tried to portray it as something that's good for me (or highlights something that benefits me too much), I'd likely see through it, and wouldn't like it at all.

Some of these laws are less obviously manipulative thought. also a lot of them are based on mistrust and expecting bad intentions.

  • @TheTrickerL If it's TOO good to be true, it probably is. But otherwise, I'd wager you won't respond so easily to a request where you get nothing out of it.

  • You Welcome my children...

  • Thanks for this info..brilliant!!!!!

  • thanks for this video, its brilliant!
