Remember you guys still wants to power those fuel guzzling SUVs, Sportscars, Boats, Jetskis etc. You also need 2 PCs a laptop for each member of the household. A HDTV for each family members room, Brand name clothing & apparel, Annual trips overseas etc

I thought this was a really strong speech at the time. I sympathized with a lot of his views, even if (like most candidates speeches) they were mainly rhetoric at this stage of the contest.

George Bush paved the way for the likes of Obama. Many Americans, especially supporters of Obama, have a venomous hatred of George Bush. McCain will be perceived as another Bush. That will drive these "Bush haters" to the polls in droves. The pundits know this. The liberal pundits want us to believe McCain is the only one who can win against Hillary or Obama, pure deception. If McCain gets nominated, we will see Hillary or Obama as president. The liberal pundits prefer Obama over Hillary.

Romney is doing this speech without cards, or prompters - the man can think on his feet.

McCain has been using teleprompters for his post election speeches and he can't look away for more than 3 words at a time.

McCain is only getting sympathy votes because he was a POW. McCain once advocated term limits and now he's been in Washington for 25 years and accomplished what?

How can we win? By providing republican solutions to problems ordinary Americans are really concerned about. Health care, education, the economy, independence from foreign oil, social security, illegal immigration, and national security. Solutions clearly superior to anything Hillary or Obama propose.
