This wonderful woman didn't only sing her life in her songs, but revealed the Hand Of God, Who carried her from her beginnings by that river, through her life, and then the portals of heaven to her new home. By no means did God let go of her hand through it all. She was an inspiration, she was a blessing!
I first seen Dottie on Bill Gaiher homecoming DVD but was not aware who she really was until I heard her sing. Since then I hold her dear in my heart for this song. She also has other similar songs. Glory to God
Back in 1964 when I first experienced the Grace and Love of God, Dottie sings about and first heard her sing, her music still makes me weep from the sweet aroma of her Praise to the Lord.
Filled with Spirit and still touches the heart like no other music can.
She is the difference in a blessing and a curse, and may she and her music live forever.
Dottie was one of the greatest song writers, that ever lived, in my opinion, with over 2500 written and published songs and one of the greatest singers, in my opinion. I can just sit and listen to one song after another, as she sings. The song she wrote and sings, "Come Spring", that song fits her. She died on Mother's Day in the spring, listen to that song and you will see what I mean. It will touch you. Dottie is with Jesus, writing more songs, for the Heavenly choir.

I 1st. heard a Fijian Christian Choir singing this !
Beautifully bewitching.
It's on C.D. and it might be a Methodist choir, but I'm not sure and don't recall the name of the choir or lead singer.

I LOVE this...I only wish it was recorded at a high level - I had great difficulty hearing it. (from Cepedaman's wife)

2 weeks ago, I heard a very touching song and thought, I've heard this somewhere before !
It was sung by a Fijian choir and I tried to remember the words and find out who wrote it.
Thank goodness for google !
well, i managed to bluff my way through and get the correct title to the song and then discovered the Author.
Only to find out that she had passed away in 2008 !
But I am so grateful that I came across Dottie's many songs.
Too much to gain to lose, was the song I was looking for.

Dottie went home to be with Jesus on Mother's Day 2008. The tour bus she was riding on went off the rode and she died as a result of her injuries.
