It doesn't come with the fan because the people who buy these CPU's are going to overclock thus using a good cooler so it's a waste putting a stock cooler in there.
That unlock can be only done with the new 45nm Phenom II based dual cores, not this.
The Athlon II X4 620 is a great deal for $99, runs at 2.6 GHz stock.
Yeah, there are different types of processors and each have there own different limits. Mine maxes out around 3.3 GHz on air, while similar Core 2 Duo's go up to around 4.4 GHz or even more on air.
Send your build(s) to me, I'll do some cable management, upgrade the fans +heatsink, etc... for only the price of the parts + shipping. I don't charge money for the service, because I like doing it.
@scottycatman haha my friend did something like this he had some one ship there pc to them over you tube and he kept it they shipped it to a hotel tha he was staying at that guy was a dumb ass
hey yoda i need ur opinion asap...which processor should i get either amd x2 6000+ or the intel e5200..in my country the price was almost the same around Rm 26x for intel and 28x for amd...so which should i choose..i will use dat pc for gaming..im not thinking of overclocking it bcoz im afraid dat it will effect my mobo or somethin else(still new to this stuff)so help me :(
It's not that big of a difference, the Kuma is slightly better but nothing to brag about. Remember it's based on a Phenom I, remember what those were like for overclocking?
Fred im not thinking of overclocking my processor...ive seen that the x2 6000+ was run at 3ghz and the x2 7750 run at 2.7ghz..so how come the kuma faster than the x2 6000+(sorry for the nub question, still new to this stuff)..so should i stick to yoda opinion or get the x2 7750 n im not overclocking my processor coz the price of the pc part in my country r quite expensive
The benchies find the 7750 to be faster than the 6000+ in the mjority of tests :) The 7750 is faster because the architecture is better, can get more work done in less time :) Some results taken from bit-tech review. These results are at stock speeds :) Crysis ATI 4850 Medium 6000 = 27fps 7750 = 31.9fps PCMark Vantage 64bit Score 6000 = 3871 7750 = 4127 Cinebench 10 Score 6000 = 2729 7750 = 3009
You will load your games much faster and will be able to run more applications and games at once. Infact Windows and basic desktop tasks will be faster too.
Should have gotten the 7750 BE kuma. I got my modest set up to a very stable overclock of 3.22ghz (14x) 230mhz fsb (2070ht) and never gets over 35c.
BTW AM3 has been out since the beginning of the year. I'd hold off until ddr3 comes down in price. Plus, by that time hopefully they will have a wider selection. Thats if AMD can weather the storm. ::fingers crossed::
And my 7750 BE has 3mb L3 cache and was $68 and runs circles around my old higher clocked 6000+. And you can do SLI on any board that has two PCI-E slots, even an ATI chipset. the 7750 overclocks extremely well, but I'm leaving mine stock for now. Runs everything flawlessly. take it to 3.5ghz and it's simply stunning
Did you buy it already? The dual will be somewhat better for gaming, the Phenom II's are much better for the Phenom I's so the 6000+ is a great choice, for now. I will upgrade mine later to Phenom II then AM3, depends when AM3 comes out and how much money I have.
I just got the "AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 Brisbane 2.6GHz" for $52.99 on newegg. Is this going to be a good processor as far as playing World of Warcraft goes?
Black Edition only means it does not come with fan (no real overclocker uses stock fan) and a unlocked multiplier. Performance is exactly the same, just with the Black Edition you can overclock higher than stock.
I used to play on private servers from time to time, I would like to play on the real servers when I get a job. :P
That was the order paper, I called them and they said you have to print your invoice of their website. Doesn't make sense though why they put "Invoice" on the order paper. ^_^
hey.. I'm thinking of seling my two laptops (because hey, there not the best for gaming, right?) to make a tower comp like yours.. just wondering. how much did this whole thing cost you? and can you get the funky green glow changed to blue? i find it more calming and less EERIE!!!

You like to talk about overclocking, but I haven't seen you do any.
scottycatman 2 years ago
FYI: This video is 10 months old and he didn't have a motherboard at that point how is he supposed to overclock?
And his processor is currently running at 3.1 GHz from 2.6 GHz.
You like to troll, but I suggest you to research before you do.
OneShotTenKills 2 years ago
A BE running at 3.1 isn't all that great.
scottycatman 2 years ago
And what would have have running Scotty?
Yoda8232 2 years ago
What? I hope this answers your question... or statement.
I'm not super rich like most, but I overclock a friends computer to 4.3 GHz.

How's this processor been doing for ya? Thinking about the new Phenom II's lately?
OneShotTenKills 2 years ago
Very well, if I go to 3.2 GHz it crashes when I prime it instantly. It's a cooling issue though.
I'm going to get a a PII when I start working, not to mention a I got a real job which I'll talk about later in a video.

I say get the AMD 6000+ because it's faster, but if your going to OC get the Intel E5200. Make sure you get the 65nm version of the 6000+.
Yoda8232 2 years ago
thx man..will get this amd processor soon ^_^v
Pshyconout 2 years ago
No problem.
Yoda8232 2 years ago
No don't get the Athlon X2 6000+ get the Athlon X2 7750 Black Edition, it's based on the newer Phenom architecture so is a fair bit faster :)

The 7750 is happy to run at 3.5GHz so it's definitely worth taking over the 6000+ :)
1066MHz RAM support, 2000MHz HT Link, L2 and L3 cache etc. :P
Anyway, 45nm Athlon II's are arriving in a few months, they will be insane :D

Get the 6000+, he's not going to OC he might as well get the 6000+ if it's cheaper. The Phenom II based duals are going to be a different story. :P
Yoda8232 2 years ago
The 7750 is faster at its stick 2.7GHz to the 6000+ and in most cases cheaper :P The 7750 is the best choice by far :D
Athlon II X2 and Phenom II X2 will be EPIC!

Yoda8232 2 years ago
Ohhh, yea. I now see you got it in Oct. Then at the time it was a great choice! Sorry about that.
Im interested in the Phenom II X3 series. But, i have fears that the X4's WILL dominate the industry and make the X3 far less sought after.
Hows the ati 3300 series gpu overclock?
spectreafi 2 years ago

I haven't tried OC'ing my onboard it's not worth it for an extra 1 or 2 FPS.

but its worth it
BobbyJEL101 2 years ago
No it's not consider the Phenom II's are MUCH better.

true, just 60 bucks more than the Phenom X4 9950 and its 3.0 ghz 6 mb cache
BobbyJEL101 2 years ago
I'd rather go all the way than half. Especially when the Phenom II's OC much better than the first.
