  • Type "Ranj Catch 22" if you wanna hear a cool song!

  • @LukeGNR94 Faith No More made it big time when I was your age, and they inspired me to take up music as a career. While I'm nobody famous, I still make most of my living singing; and I'm glad to hear that someone two decades younger than me can still be inspired like I was from the same band that inspired me.

  • @CoyotesPaw yeah man! im in a rock n roll band ! my drummer and vocalist are 15! the other guitarist 19, the bassist 18 and me 16! i can almost guarantee my band will be noticed one day, and i thank bands like FNM for influencing me!

  • I just discovered this band, pretty cool

  • so at first i saw 'sweet emotion' and hoped for an aerosmith cover. then i saw 'perfect crime' and thought of guns n' roses. then i heard this song, and im glad it werent any cover :D im 16 and i fucking love everything about this band

  • Have you guys noticed that the drummer has always looked the same..including not aging

  • @Midnightryder7 Yes. Just his beard went a little white. Haev you seen him in the Millionare? Pretty sympathic fellow.

  • @tod4y No sorry i can't say i have

  • @Midnightryder7 Just search "mike bordin of faith no more on millionaire" :)

  • The Chili Peppers shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as FNM.

  • @AirThief Original singer? How can you confuse Mike Patton with Courtney love? lol

  • @CLeRKSfan4life She wasn't the original singer. The original singer was Mike Morris, then Courtney Love only for a few months, then Chuck Mosley, then Mike Patton.

  • @UnexplainedDirge Yeah I was jokin'. lol

  • @CLeRKSfan4life Sorry.

  • @givemefudge it's FNM performing "From out of nowhere" on Saturday Night Live in 1990. You should be able to find it through google since YouTube always seem to reject that one, as well as their performance of "Epic" from the same show. Good luck :-)

  • @AirThief False, that is Patton.

  • LOL back in the day my entire bedroom was covered with most of these posters. 1 entire wall with nothing but FNM.

the picture at 1:20 I even put my own head on the guy in front. how sad/funny is that?!

  • yeah! perfect crime kick ass!! ;-)

  • this video has great photos! and the music is awesome of course

  • πολυ ωραιο song!!

    Μπραβο ρε φιλεε

    Congrats!:D

  • perfect crime is better

  • hard to say which is better, this or perfect crime. both mega in their own right

  • I like A Perfect Crime better, but I have to say, it takes alot to rewrite a song. They were (are) great and I know there are many but we are few, Long live FNM!

  • The Chili's were never as good as FNM at their best.

  • Chili Peppers are great, no matter what, FNM is one of my favorite bands of all time, and there is NO comparison between both bands what so ever! I've been a fan of both bands for SO long and I've never understood how people compare the two, and choose between one or the other, they are both awesome bands that do their own thing.

  • The comparison stems from the fact that they were both metal-funk.

  • well...Chili Peppers aren't "metal" at all, never were. but what I mean is how people compare them like saying FNM ripped off the Chili Peppers and vice versa, BUT I do realize these comments are made mainly by people who didn't know FNM existed before "Epic" (or after Epic for that matter lol) or that the Chili Peppers existed before "Under the Bridge"...... these have been 2 of my favorite bands for so many years. FNM is one of the greatest bands ever, they never get the respect they deserve.

  • I agree, loved both FNM and RHCP since their beginnings in the 80's.

  • i like this better than the perfect crime

  • Thx for your share from Hungary :)

  • 1:06 looks gr8 nice song too!

  • at the first time i'm listening to them at the live stream from download 09 but there are one of my favorite bands allready!!!!

  • hahahah pure gave grohl, you should have known :D :D :D

  • best of the best era in rock.. acid rock......fnm

  • wow o_o

  • The Chili Pepper were never this good.

  • I think they both are good...I disagree that just because Kiedis and Patton did'nt get along that the fans should be forced to chose an aliegence. Patton has the better voice but the Chili Peppers have the record sales. I like both though so I'm not bothered.

  • @TheShadowBrigade uh, uplift mofo party plan? its like apples and oranges guy

  • Comment removed

  • ... thanks man!!... never heard this song before :(

  • It's the precurser to The Perfect Crime.

  • it sounds similar to The Perfect Crime.

  • mike was so sexy back in 80s/90s

  • yea those dreadlocks are super sexy =)FNM forever!

  • this version sounds kind of like underwater love

so I can see why they changed it

  • Very cool. I think like "The Perfect Crime" better but it may be because I'm used to it. Thanks.

  • Love Faith No More! Finally they are reunited, and playing konserts!!! :)

  • your shirt is stained when you wear your heart on your sleeve!

  • the image at 1:05 wtf???????????????

  • Is that Mike is or was in favor of coprophagia.

  • mike it has been said ,has eaten shit ?

  • Melhor que "A Perfect Crime". O riff de guitarra na metade da música é ótimo; deveriam ter preservado esta versão.

  • Thanks for this - thought I'd heard every FNM song - what a great surprise

  • I remember getting this with Kerrang,it was a clear flexible thing on the cover!oh god i'm old...

  • i was hoping it's an Aerosmit's cover!

    Still the song is cool!

  • es muy parecida a The perfec Crime :P

     muy copada, nanannanaa

Perfect Crime? haha. This is kinda cool to though :P.

  • Talk bout rare how do you know the name of the song though its never appered on anythg at all kick ass post however you found it go find more lol

  • It did appear on a limited "7 single that came with an issue of Kerrang! in 1989, that's how I know it's name.

  • where did you get this from?? its amazing!!!

  • I searched the internet like an idiot... :P

  • How the hell??? Great find bro!

  • this sounds loke the perfect crimee

  • That's because this would become "The Perfect Crime" 2 years later.

  • Wow, now this is rare. I've never heard it before. Good find!

  • kudos

  • how the fuuckk did u find this

  • By searching through hundreds of sites on the net. I finally found it on a site that I don't remember the name of.

  • I have this....on the 7" lol it sounds like shit now but it's great to hear a higher quality and I was wondering if you could send me the mp3

  • roaring guitar!! great balls of fire!!

    the most photogenic band ever

  • i love the lyrics for this version, this version rules

  • Ditto.

I think Patton's voice stylings and the vocal lines seem to fit in with the song more.

The other one drags a bit and lacks momentum even if the lyrics were more edgier.

I love the instrumentation on this version. Maybe it's the raw production or mixing but it seems different somehow.

I wish they played this at the Brixton academy. Yesterday I bought the vinyl for that and I wish it had this, The Crab Song, Introduce Yourself, As The Worm Turns, The Morning After along with...

  • Chinese Arithmetic, Woodpecker From Mars, Surprise You're Dead, Why Do You Bother and Easy.

  • Yeah! There was a lot of great songs that didn't make it... Why, FNM?

  • It's nice to see someone agrees. :)

Having a complete set list on the Brix' vinyl would have served as a subtle way of having a "best of" collection, especially given how their previous albums were advertised on the back of the record.

I think the idea was to have different versions of Brix' so as to be more enticing for the completist (like how War Pigs and Edge of the World weren't on the vinyl release of Real Thing but on Brix') but there's still some songs missing on the Brix' releases.

  • Thanks for posting this. Now more people can know about it. :)

  • cool pics. Thanks

  • i think this was called perfict crime. i have this sing and its called perfict crime. and it sounds much better than this. and id a lot longer. its very easy to download.

  • This was an earlier version and it was recorded during The Real Thing sessions. Perfect Crime was the later and reworked version.

  • ah i see. this song still rocks, i reconised it from bill n ted 2. and found it hard to track down and get. it paid off tho.

  • I love both versions! This one definitely has that "Real Thing" feel to it though. Love it. Thank you Wacke

  • You're welcome! :)

  • Wow! Never knew this existed. Thanks for posting : )

  • I got Patton vids kids!!!

  • I thought this song was on Bill & Ted 2

  • Not this one, it was the later and reworked version called "The Perfect Crime".

  • was this before "the perfect crime"? it still rocks, nice!

  • Yes! This was the first "The Perfect Crime" but a bit shorter as well as different lyrics. It was recorded in the same session as "The Real Thing" album and "The Perfect Crime" was recorded in 1991 a while before "Angel Dust" if I'm not mistaken.

  • Good job! Put some more up!

  • I'll see what I can do! :)

  • BRAAAAAVVVVVOOOOOOO!!!!!!

  • This is really awesome! thanks for sharing, I haven't heard this before!

  • thanks alot dude where did u get all of those photos from!

  • I just searched ALL OVER the net, and I mean ALL OVER! :P
