At about 0:18 seconds in, he does this really sexy thing with his eyebrows. I very recently had the privilege and pleasure to work alongside Hugh Jackman, and he's fantastic. Professional, intense, extremely polite, and so good looking it'd blow your mind. I paid him a complement about his work, especially onstage, and he was genuinely flattered, and thereafter--about a week later--autographed the Boy From Oz cast recording I'd smuggled onto set. Truly a class act.

He isn't really playing the piano, is he? Because at the tony awards it really seems fake. And he also said once that he played the piano until he was 10/11. He's so Talented, nice, modest, down to earth, HILARIOUS and HOT.

I just wish they would release a video of the whole musical since making a movie of it seems to be off the table. There is a DVD of the real Peter Allen called Boy from Oz, but I would still like the Broadway musical and Jackman.

I know there isn't an official release but the show has been recorded officially, I own a copy of it. it was a "media reel" that was made available to television critics and it includes all of the musical numbers from the show, performed by Hugh Jackman and the original Broadway cast. I'm a bit shocked that it hasn't made it onto the internet yet.

I'm afraid this is one that the copyright folks would hunt down and punish. It amazes me that Broadway producers continue to miss a major money making opportunity once the the first run and first tour are over ... release it on DVD and sell it to everyone who isn't near a professional level theater. At least Sondheim isn't stupid so you can get his, but the others are very very rare.

He plays a bisexual! Not GAY! Hence he sings a song called 'Bi-Coastal', I saw him perform this live and it's far better watching the entire 'The Boy From Oz' musical instead of listening to just him sing 'Not The Boy Next Door'

Rubbish! He played a gay man - Peter Allen. If you had watched the entire musical you would know that Peter had a long relationship with a man who tragically died of HIV AIDS in the 80's. He was brilliant performer and his death in the 90's was also tragic. Thankfully, his outrageously spectacular performances live on through Hugh Jackman and the brilliant musical depicting Peter's life.

OMG. I seriously cannot believe I am trying to convince someone that Peter Allen was gay. His marriage to Liza was a marriage of convenience. Sure, he may have loved her, but that does not make him bisexual. It's reflective of society back in Peter's day... it wasn't accepted to be out and proud so Peter was forced to hide his sexuality like countless other gay men. Anyway, I respect your opinion.. let's just agree that he was a fab entertainer and Hugh is just as fab.

He is much like John Barrowman, John likes women still but prefers men; it was only after he divorced Liza that Peter discovered he was gay, many call him bisexual.

Yeh Ian isnt a musical guy, theatre yes but not musicals, I believe he has only ever appeared in a musical when John Barrowman sneaked him in the background of one of the shows he was in for one scene.

The song is "Not the Boy Next Door" from Boy from Oz. And yeah, that's him singing while jumping around. I saw an interview where he said he worked with an opera singer while shooting Van Helsing to prep. But he had already done musicals before; this one's just even more demanding.

It's him really singing. he did the same on Tony Award and on the show. Hugh is amazing talent and I think everything he do he do it on 200%. He is very unique actor. He can sing, dance and play whatever role he get in the movie. It's a old school from the past when the actors got drama, music education, before they started career in show business. Most of today's actors/actress in Hollywood are just a pretty faces without any acting experience. There is no many actors like Hugh.
