No I don't know any house Music DJ's!, but I do know a guy called JJ ! lol.

The original version of this song is stuck on a broken down 4 track.

Just a couple of guitars an old drum machine and a vocal track on this one, so it's just a rough outline of a finished song really, but the video was already made for it and the 4 tracks dead so I uploaded it anyway, but bass etc would of helped :)

I loved both the song and the singing! I'm really impressed! I also actually really like the sound quality as it is - it sort of suits the mood of the song and adds something to it in a way =)

Until I read the sidebar, I had thuoght the distortion was deliberate -ok so I am dumb regarding this stuff. BUt I tell you what Marco, I've heard a LOT WORSE than this on the radio and on MTV and VH1. SO STICK WITH IT. Shared, added to music groups, and fav'd.

in the 90's, I was using equipment similar to that. I had a Vestax MR44, an Alesis SR16 and no good mics or amplifiers for guitar. My recordings came out sounding sorta like this in those days too. It's nice to hear it. This is the "good enough to show the band" recording style.

Mines a Fostex 260, I wanted the SR16, I never got around to getting it, I used an old Roland TR-606 drum machine that a friend gave me & used a crappy old mic for the vocal track :) It was always disappointing listening to the final result after all the sound quality was lost and a bunch of hiss was added to the tape lol, I just used it as a sketchpad for songs really to be finished at a later date, I'm thinking about buying a digital multi track now, I'm not used to PC recording.
