You know I would not consider the Horned King to be a Disney villan since he first appeared as a villan in The Book of Three by Lloyd Alexander. Apart of The Prydain Chronicles by the way. But I don't really mind if he's a Disney villan. Though I can't understand why he is portrayed as a zombie-like character.

Well most movies Disney have ever made is from other books and stories you know. :P and I think they made him like a zombie because one should see how evil he was, most Villains has to look evil in some way, I think they did a good job with him......and I don´t look at this story like the one Lloyd Alexander made, to me they are not the same.

seriously, horned king was the best of disney's villains. I mean he was a demon wizard who commanded an army of the undead and had a mutant goblin for a minion. and those eyes! seriously most of the time they were just two points of red light in his hollowed out eye sockets, now that was creepy!

In the books, The Horned King was a warrior and servant of Arawn Death-Lord, who was basically this uber-necromancer tyrant.

In the movie they sort of fused these two characters into one. Assuming this version is mostly Arawn, he was once a mortal man who became twisted by dark magic. I guess 'lich' is as good a word as any for what he is.

The Horned King defenitly has to make an appearance in one of the Kingdom Hearts games. Especially if the games get darker. I say he deserves it. He's the reason Black Cauldron got a PG-13 rating.

Actually, 'Black Cauldron' got a PG rating, not PG-13. Because, that rating would have been too strong for 'The Black Cauldron' and the Disney studios decided to give that rating for their 'POTC' movies...

At first me too cause he has that non-mobile personality.He scares with staring,sitting,standing so its hard to find a suitabale music.But for many people he is scary and disgusting..So i reminded myself of the Grinch song.And it fits exactly cause 1. its about a rotten person and 2. its not that dynamic for a song.And by Jim its very hilarious and the music changes nicely.
