@cloudidogz Thank you always Cloud! The role of Sophia Loren was designed for Anna Magnani and Sophia Loren was to play his daughter. If not mistaken, Loren could not play the role of the daughter because higher compared to the mother. This certainly is the best role for Sophia, but do not forget the great performance in Marriage Italian Style! ;)

Il più grande ed intenso film di Vittorio de sica con un'interpretazione di Sophia Loren incomparabile con nessun'altra di alcuna attrice: da 0:00 a 0:42 tutto il dramma del sudiciume che una guerra porta con sè. L'oscar al film fu più che meritato.
