  • which one is best, 3ds max or cinema 4d?

  • @gNarKillportugalteam

good question... I'm not a 3dmax expert but for me c4d is more easy to start as a beginner. I tried Maya, 3dmax, and other software but always I came back to c4d.

  • @fleshmannn kk i only tried 3ds max, i will try to inform more :)

  • @gNarKillportugalteam

All is good, there is no only Max and Cinema, there are also Maya, XSI, Rhino, Blender etc...etc...

  • @gNarKillportugalteam it is all up to what you like.. and how you use it..

  • nice work!!!!how do you render this?with rendercows?do you know anyone else standalone renderers to be compatible with vue?thnx;)

  • try rebusfarm maybe they are compatible vith vue but now i have my new workstation.

this footage was rendered with very cery low quality to reduce render time.

  • can you swap scenes from max3d to vue? or vise versa?

  • From vue you can only import 3ds or Obj files.

From MAX you need the Plugin provided by Vue.

  • which is better cinema 4d, 3ds max or maya?

  • depend of each user...but I prefer C4d coz I was very relax with it during my first contact

  • very nice... very...

  • excelent, but this one have a camera bug in the end, but all is awesome, because the waves is very slow, excelent.

  • nice, how long did it take to render?

    thanks :D

  • 1 night

  • one night with what specs????

  • final render, 680 x 240, spectral environment, Global Ambiance Light, core quad 2.8Ghz, 3Gb Ram, XP pro 32bits.

  • which CPU?

  • INTEL Core 2 Quad Q9550 - 2.83 GHz - Cache L2 12 Mo

  • k cool thanks. Q9550 is pretty old so i should be fine.

  • that flickering sucks alot, and try smoothing the cameras curves and stuff. but other than that nice job.

  • that flickering because I used a low quality render setting to decrease render time.... if not i shall to wait 7 days before I finish my job.

  • yeah, vue sucks at rendering but id rather wait 7 days and have something high quality than something youre not really happy with, know what i mean? ive done animations and they took me about 4 days but now i lost it all haha. good work though man.if you make more let me know.

  • Thanks anyway, I will let you now certainly my futur works ;)

  • again the camera is awful.

  • Thank you. I will take care but i'm looking for some tutorial to generate camera movements...

  • ok, you can make them manual too I don't think it's that hard, btw ur great at modelling and lighting, or so it seems :P
