Do you recommend this foundation for people with oily skin like me? I havent found a good foundation that goes on lightly and smoothly on my skin. My foundation doesn't even last me a good 2 hours.

@kaykay661562 Hey, I have oily skin as well and liquid foundation is good for oily skin when you use a mineralizer to soak up the access oil. But all in all powder foundation is usually prefered for ppl with oily skin. Liquid foundation's key purpose is for more coverage, so if u dnt have many blemishes the MAC studio fix powder will be best. I know u didn't ask me the question, but I just hope my answer helped.

I used this for about 4months then got a terrible cosmetic breakout from it, from all the dyes, and the fragrances. Come to find out it was created orignally for theatrical makup and high end photoshoots, So its not to be worn on a daily basis, I wore it about 4times a week. Took me 2months to get 100% clear of acne, stuff just clogged my pores beyond belief and it does to 75% of the people who use it as well. IM NOT acne prone either & used a primer. THANK GOD my skin cleared up !

@skerLao You put primer on before foundation so it wont move around your face which is good for people with oily skin or who live in a warm climate. And Fix+ just sets the makeup after youre done. It really just gives your makeup more staying power.

@1942evelyn Yes its a good full coverage foundation... You should go to a MAC store and have them match you and use a product under it to control your oil.

Girl ure gorgeous with and without makeup! I'm glad I saw this video bcuz every time I go to MAC I always get a sample of the SFF in NW45 and then tell myself I shud get this foundie bcuz it does control my oil the longest of every foundie I've ever tried. But every time I put it on myself w/ the 190 brush it ends up looking too cakey on me (2 full coverage 4 me). But now I see u use the 187 and I think that would take it down a notch to a medium more natural finish. I think I'll get it!

@2melimoe its a great foundation for everyday use. use a foundation brush and apply one even coat.. concelar before if you need to.. and then if you need to cover stubborn spots go back with the tip of the foundation brush and then cover those spots

I used to have oily skin but lately I've been noticing that my makeup tends to get dry/cakey around my mouth area & under my eyes & also sets into fine lines in both those areas; especially if I use Studio finish concealer. I do moisturize & prime before using Studio Fix fluid & set with MAC translucent finishing powder, I also use MAC Fix + but I'm not sure what I'm doing or not doing that's making it dry/cakey & set into the fine lines around the mouth & under the eyes. Any tips/suggestions?

@DurbanChic i would rec trying to use a lighter application of makeup... or using a cream based product like a foundation stick or mac studio tech... also try to blend really well with the 109 or like a mac 224 brush in those areas... i hope this helps... its prob the weather that has something to do with it though...
