you know, its funny how the US is perceived by Mexico, or really any other country in the world. Their inferior, they don't have the background or the players, no style, no hope. For years, that was true. But now, in the past 15 years or so, the US has become far more competitive, to the point where they are now the bullies of North America, and expected to compete with, and beat, Mexico. I think the issue is that you've chosen a player many non-Americans fancy to let have it. Why not slag off Altidore, if you want to get after a player who was talked up only to not be able to find his way onto the pitch for sorry Hull City? Dempsey seems a good footballer and a good enough person. The real problem the Americans have is that even if they do well in the World Cup people like you will find some way to excuse their success. Their Confederations Cup run to the final was class.
