I'm amazed by alot of things in this vid.

First, the "Victors" fanfare with the modulations and just basically a different sound from the V ictors that most are used to. Impressive.

The energy. The DM the band members pushing 140 bpm, all in step, keeping that squad integrity. They have great stamina and drive.

You dont find this often.

MMB entry step-style = above 90 degrees.

SMB entry step-style = stutter-step that I could do before anyone taught me how. I even ran it by one of their previous Drum Major candidates and he was like "Yep, that's pretty much it."

Don't mistake me, I think the SMB is a great band...but comparing MMB and SMB is like comparing apples and oranges. They're just different.

I agree with you but the drum major needs a new routine. If you are going to do a back bend,with a head touch, keep the knees OFF the ground,it looks BAD.
