And they´re touring!!! :D Can´t believe i´ll see them in oct, Brazil! A long waiting since their last visit in 96 when i was underage.. Now it´s my "revenge"!!! xDDD A real good band/music never dies!!! Can´t wait!!
I`m glad GTA Vice City put this and other great songs for all the youngsters of today to listen to.Now they know what REAL songs with meaning, heart and soul are....Long live the 80s!!!
@hwr1996 I've put my hand on one of those record too! I went to an old record store and there was plenty of the tears for fears single! I was like : " oh my god! oh my god!" so i've bought almost all of them! ha ha ha!
This song rocks; the long version's even better! I remember seeing their videos when I was 10 years old on MTV (when, at that time, all they would ONLY show was music videos) back in'85/'86. I never heard of this song (let alone see their vid until just recently via youtube) until I bought their greatest hits CD near the end of my Senior year in high school '93.
We can still have music like this if the entertainment industry executives would get their heads out of their asses. Most music is marketed toward air-headed teens. We need more variety. One thing that is hopeful is John Mayer's audience. At least they know what real music is.
so what can i say i was born at 1995 i missed 80's and 90's the best times i'm very VERY SAD because i missed the best times but i'm sure 80's will bach soon it' just about time we must just wait i'm sure 'bout that
aw! Breaks my heart how kids today really have not better alternatives. Lucky I was born in the mid 60's and was a teen and young adult when all this stuff came out. I miss those days dearly and wish clear channel could die cause they ruined radio in the US.
At least we have YouTube! Let's not let ClearChannel steal that!
Reading the comment from my fellow sixtys boys and girls from all over europe basicaly tels me that we all agree after the eightys music has gone down in the toilette saving just a few the rest his nothing a mass production of boy band and girl band they can't even play instrument you only need to take a look at the X FACTOR created by that . arrogant imbecille of simon cowell to understand our society today all they do his crying what a lot of rubbish BRING BACK THE 80s
Hail Crazyholger. great song, to hell with today's music riding on the coattails of post-punk, and 80's. Ptuu I spit on them, for they are nothing but Twats.
Born In 1965..My greatest music memories came from the 80's..All new wave/synth-pop sound...Nothing can't top that...By all means nothing!!Hello from the US!
Born in 1966. Today, i turn on the radio, i turn it off. Go to my PC and listen to my thousends of trance and techno songs. The last ten years, there were nobody can make such impossible and beautyfully melodies and songs, like tears for fears in the 80's. greetings from Germany
Could die for this song. Along a countryside road with very green hills in a convertible car in springtime somewhere in Europe and the discrete flow of the music mixed with the freshness of the day. Great missing creative 80's !
This song sounds very similar to their Advice for the Young At Heart song. First time I heard this one was in GTA Vice City, though I've been listening to T4F for a lot longer.
I had the original Mike Howlett produced 7 inch single of this single when i was at high school 25 years ago...never heard this extended version until now...thank you so much for posting it dude.

Last post is my son's handle.
I'm his dad,(old man or whatever is cool these days) and Tears for Fears were awesome in the 80's and they still are.
How many 80's acts can say the same!!!!!!
