This song is purely beautiful, we played it at my dads funeral and my mom and i both cried and sang it together. But it was a happy moment, a loving one. And i know that's what he would've wanted. I love hearing this song play and think of all the happy memories him and i had shared and how much of an amazing person he was to everyone. I get sad when people pass away but then i just think to myself in a hundred years tops i will be with them for eternity and it's okay cause i can wait that long to see someone and stay with them forever. I am just starting out but when i get where I'm going i will see all my family and friends that have passed on from my life. its just right now were stuck between heaven and hell so it can suck and it can be wonderful but when i get where I'm going it will be nothing but wonderful. :)

When i arrived at the hospital he was lying there almost out of breath. And i rushed in there without even a hesitation. My stepdad was the biggest redneck ever he like mud a lot im not like that he would throw mud at me and id get so mad at him he died july 2nd 2011 at 36 of a heart attack he had his son me and my sister and my mom we loved him a lotI cant help but think of him and my dad together in the sky. They both had issues I think god saved them before they went back to their old ways my real dad died at 23 2 weeks beofre I turned 7 I love them both so much... promise youll watch over me I need you guys :)

This makes me think of my grandfather! He was always so quiet and shy, but he always had the guts to tell me that he loved me. One day he got really sick because of all the smoking he had been doing. When i arrived at the hospital he was lying there almost out of breath. And i rushed in there without even a hesitation. Miss my grandpa, i wish he was still around to help me work on the truck that he passeddown to me befor he passed away from what started off as a tumor on his bladder to ending up passing from lung cancer. i miss him and hope hes lookin down while hes up there. Thank you Brad for this beautiful song. It hasn''t had more meaning than it does right now. We just lost my father-in-law last week. My son calls him Granddaddy & he use to tell us "come here so I can hug your neck". He lived a wonderful & long 92 years. EVERYONE that knew him will miss him. We had people of all walks of life come to my mother-in-laws door sharing their story and letting us know how he was the only person that came out and talked to them. Even if he wasn't blood related, he was MY grandpa, no matter what. He had MS.. He was only 53.. He used to let me whiz around the elderly building he used to live in on his scooter.
