Incredible driving! Also, is this street legal? It seems like the car still has stock glass windows and T-Tops. I feel as though as long as there is a steel front bumper under that fiberglass that would be it. The fact there there is a keyring with multiple keys on it,it makes me think someone drives this to work everyday! hahah. I know he was traction limited the whole time, but it looks like he did NOT take the car out of gear when he let off of it at the finish, and engine braking caused the rears to loose traction. - only thing that makes sense given the timing and the action of the slide - RPM drops as the car slows during the slide, and then after gaining control, you see he goes for neutral. Sure, you would want engine braking to slow from that speed, but it looks like it was too much for the traction avail.

He handled it perfectly. Punch the clutch to separate all power from the rear, and then let the car understeer itself, instead of the mistake most people do, trying to counter-steer it way too much, which results in a complete spin-out or worse.

As a third gen Camaro owner I can say with confidence that when your moving at high speed they tend to straighten themselves out if you let off the gas and are a good enough driver to handle it, awesome car awesome vid, just needs to work on that shifting.

Yeah the part I find kinda funny about this is that its an "old" F-body platformed car on 20" hard street tires with minimal aerodynamic mods AND t-tops..and its one of the fastest cars ever at the Texas Mile. As the guy below me posted, these cars were never designed for these speeds...period. Damn cool though. :)
