that lion didint die actually. she survives with painful injurys that after some weeks get better and gets back hunt again. but she probably gets an infection futher on i think.

We didn't get to the top of the food chain through brawn--we're physically weak and slow compared to so many other animals. And, to the extent that lions are king of the jungle (although I think elephants are), lions didn't get their through pure power--they can only even think of going after buffalo, hippo, rhino when they have huge numbers

I bring up the fact Humans hunt with tools they invented, without them we can't hunt successfully(barely) at all. Same comparison, saying an organism does w.e it needs to survive on this planet. @pmpalihena maybe you are little slow. these lions are minors a little more than half grown they are uncordinated and know little about hunting in packs at that age. the hippo is 2 and a half thousand pounds these lions are a little over two hundred if given enough time one full grown expirinenced male lion can kill a hippo if it is not killed first if you have six humans on a hippo that hippo is still not going to burst on its weight

@danyeo which is an extremly smart however they as a group were uncordinated. those lions were no more than preteens in human terms i wouldn't doubt if that was their first our second hunt. they were very small even compared to full grown females. now tiger have been caught feeding and killing on bears up 2 1500 to 2000 pound bears now bears have double twitch muscle fibers and so do apes and chimpanzes and most cats. that is how 3 foot tall chimps can rip faces of a full grown human and

The only thing I've ever seen a lion kill one-on-one is a lowly hyena. A hippo would have a male lion for breakfast lunch and dinner. Don't be stupid. The success rate of lions hunting is under 20%.

The Hippo has like 50,000 Hit points whereas the Lion only deals 200 DMG each lion. So it will take a lot of lions to bring the hippo down, but then out of nowhere the hippo deals a massive critical hit on one of the lion's head.
