Another thing that capitalism is hurting is music. Major record labels don't care about good, hard-working artists. They care about marketable artists that stupid people can embrace. Hence Justin Bieber and the bevy of autotune users.
@AntiMTVMovement Any type of artwork is being affected. The video game industry can no longer take any chances. Companies will only fund what they know to be profitable. That's why we see a new Call of Duty every year.
=That is why the rush to metal is heating ,it is the only way to keep the money you have from drying up with Ben Bernankes printing press...Hopefully the gov will not find another way to make our metal worhless..There is no 100% answer to our problems and corporate greed mixed in with elite governmet cronyism for favours is a problem, but if small business dies ,we all die ,and small business has a terrible time with government regulations, they have it the hardest..
At least though if we could keep product cost low by keeping the gov out of private business with out taxing them too much so they will not pass the cost to us,I think there could be allot less waste and our money would be worth more than just nearly nothing. The fiat based system has devalued our money to 5% of what it should be..Old money lying around,Pensions,IRA,savings accounts are worth way less than they were a few years ago..
I meant people ,not the air dummy.Your just short sighted by saying capitalism 40 times,ok so what about the elite rich Communist and Socialist dictators like Hitler, they were well off and you do not blame them for being greedy. Capitalism does not promote scarcity, look all the food there is to say the least, while the Russians waited in line for toilet paper..Go to work, raise children and find out how things realy are and get out of your adolecent stage.Your arguments are very weak .
@CrashMarket Do you think that me targeting capitalism makes me a socialist/communist supporter? Yes some of these things do happen with socialism and communism. You are completely missing the point. And yes our monetary system promotes both scarcity and waste. 1/3 of all food produced is thrown out (waste) diamonds are destroyed each year, cures or more efficient products are suppressed. (Scarcity) Air is an example of abundance. The idea here is our current state of capitalism is dying
@matteo311 Thanks for a kind comback,..There is no 100% perfect of a system. There are false shrotages created to keep from flooding the market with a certain product, farmers have done it killing new hatched fowl that could not sell,I have seen garbage bins at supermarkets with allot of sealed food in them ,a huge bag of cheese behind a Dominoes Pizza.I have even heard of oil tankers dumping oil at sea off the Arab coast ..
@CrashMarket There definitely isn't a 100% system, and I don't think there every will be. We can always find ways to improve. But we can't hold on to things that are broken. I'm glad you kept it civil with the comments.
Great inventions have been supprsed because of greed ,but greed can come from any where. It does not make it Capitalisms fault.,,It makes it the fault of a greedy person..The richest people in Commuist countries were and are the leaders,Castro ,Breshnev,Mao,etc, they had all the best things while the people who were under their communist socialst state thumb had very little..
@CrashMarket Greed is a healthy position in a capitalist system. The more you have the better you are doing. The environment causes greed. Do you know anyone who hordes air? No? Why not? Simple answer air is overly abundant; there is no reason to store it. Capitalism promotes scarcity. You can't sell something that is overly abundant.
Go back and look at Communist USSR,the average people were under socialsm, every one was equal and they had to wait in line for toilet paper..You cannot have a capitalist system like the US did have when our gov takes what we work for and then gives it all away in all forms of so called compassion to dead beats that do not deserve it,even non citizens get our tax money now.FDR was the culprit that has killed our system along with the Fed Bank..
The food Part just made me Sad. Do you really think your body is healthy? :( are u eating what you think you really eating for the benefit of ur Body? Sad but this has to Stop. :-l
Here's how to break the system, Run ur waters out and also ur electricity. If 75% of the people in NA do this, you will see that free energy would be brought out by force :) Crazy thinking but it will work :D
free-market capitalism is successful. You are benefiting from capitalism (ie, you have a computer, a camera & are broadcasting yourself on a captialist media creation known as Youtube. Greece/Spain have stated that they need capitalism to cure their socialist/communist woes. Again, free-market capitalism is primarily why the USA rose to such great prominance in the 21st century. However, it's been a long while since US capitalism operated as a free-market. In that respect it is a cancer.
@huskie767 Actually the major cause of our rise(both america and humanity) was oil and technology. You don't need capitalism to get a computer, video camera, ect. Also just because something (capitalism) got me this far, it doesn't mean it is the best means to continue. Socialism, communism are not the only other solutions. I have more information to put together on this. When I have a chance I will record more stuff.
@matteo311 You mean like how the buggy whip manufacturers were put out of work by the invention of the automobile? Didn't they just retrain and get jobs in the new industry?
@TreachMarkets The old idea that technology is continuely opening up new jobs is no longer true. 75% of all americans now work in the service industry. Waiters, clerks, receptionist, ect. Technology is now taking over those fields too.
thanks for making these videos. It helps to remind us that there are people who have similar mentalities concerning the world, people, and the environment and that we aren't alone in that fight for what's right. Your a kindred spirit Matteo. Cheers!
@999SoundMoney VEry true. The question is what do we do?
The best positive steps I can see are:
1 Consume as little as possible (reduce their profits).
2. Do the minimum work possible (for corprations - work for urself or small business is fine).
3. Put as much of your saved paper money as you can possibly save into precious metals (the paper is going away anyway - and taking PM's (Elite money) out of the Elite's stockpile hurts them.
Another thing that capitalism is hurting is music. Major record labels don't care about good, hard-working artists. They care about marketable artists that stupid people can embrace. Hence Justin Bieber and the bevy of autotune users.

There are other money systems that don't require constant economic growth.

@TreachMarkets Yes, I would love to see a debt free currency, but that doesn't solve technological unemployment
