  • Hey, this is very nice... you got some talent

  • Thanks very much.

  • @peebz75 I have your guitar?

  • doing great there.

  • Thank you. And you too... checked out some of your vids, liked the acoustic blues in particular.

  • @peebz75 Thanks man...

  • Good my friend exelent guitar and playing

  • Thanks -- appreciate you taking the time to comment!

  • Great playing. Great guitar. I hope one day to own one. Until then I have ben thinking of getting one of the Parker PM models. Have you tried one of those?

  • Thanks. Haven't played a PM, but have read some good reviews. If you get one, let me know when you post a vid!

  • Out of tune, a bit out of time and not much feel plus searching for the right notes plus it all sounds the same after once around. But OK for a beginner - we all started somewhere...

  • Thanks for the comment. But where's your video??

  • It's a crime that you're "learning" on a $2,500 guitar.

Playing was alright though. Your phrasing needs work, but the technique isn't bad at all.

  • Thanks. And about the guitar... I know, I know. The only advantage to being old... ;-)

  • Here's some constructive criticism: When using vibrato use your wrist, not your fingers. You have decent phrasing and you'll be pretty good in the future.

  • Thanks. I posted this vid almost 2 years ago, have gotten a little better, but appreciate the advice and encouragement.

  • hey from where r the drums playing?

  • A backing track on ipod through the Micro Cube.

  • wow. your "just learning" on a parker fly. lucky boy

  • I know, I know... lucky indeed.

  • I have that guitar!

  • Yeah, and you're good! Thanks for commenting.

  • No matter how much you learn, keep that feeling. Ive seen too many people trade feeling and phrasing for speed, but you seem to be in a good balance already.

  • Thanks for the nice comment. I did this video almost 2 years ago, when I really was just learning. Appreciate it.

  • yeah, just looked at the date. I saw your others though, and its very impressive.

  • Thanks again for the encouragement.

  • I myself am a learning guitar playing, I've been playing for like a year and 4 or so months my question is how did you learn something like this? Because if there is a style I would like to start with and build around it would be blues.

    Thanks in advance.

  • How long have been playing? I am currently learning for myself (watch my vid).

    Descent playing!

  • Thank you. I've been playing about 2 years now, less when I posted this vid! Good luck to you ~

  • nice sound!

  • Thank you I'm still practicing, gettin' a little better every day.

    Appreciate it.

  • Still practicing hey?

Then you must be rich: parker flys cost a few thousand or so last time I checked.

  • Hey man, i love the feel of your phrasing, excellent emotion.

  • Thanks for taking the time to comment. Appreciate it.

  • I dug it. Nice job.

  • Thank you.

  • play em in b flat next timethey sound more bluesy from my experience

  • are you serious? b flat is more bluesy then g? thats like the spinal tap bit.. "d minor is the saddest of all keys"

  • taste wise i like b flat bluies more than g

  • VERY GOOD, MY FRIEND!!

  • sick man. my friend has the exact same setup as u (guitar and amp) he has the $3,000 one, do you have the same one cause that guitar is sick.

  • Yeah, $3,000 retail (not list). I got it for $1800 used when they were still retailing for about $2500. A great, great guitar.

  • G pentatonic blues?

  • Yeah- G penatonic,

  • btw, how much did u buy the fly mojo for?

  • Oh, you are SO wrong...

  • dude. play a parker fly mojo, try the piezo and everything, feel how light it is. then come back and THEN tell me what u think. they're amazing

  • play the guitar. it doesn't matter how it looks. i would gladly play a bright pink guitar if it was the best guitar in the world for me.

  • yeah, you're learning,..... with a parker guitar !!!!! dammit, you're on the right way, in few months you'll be the new SRV

  • ya ur right

  • sounds like you're using the piezo with the neck pickup coiled. nice siund. if i'm right give it a bit chorus and a bit delay through an effects pedal and it will sound great.

  • Appreciate it.

  • but it is smooth its nice

  • its way mroe a jazzy tone

  • Appreciate your input -

  • i like the tone but its not bluesy at all its like way to trebly or something idont know what it is maybe the preamp inside or something

its way to cutting it doesnt mix

  • Nice, very jazzy man...

    You need some feeling thought

  • Thanks, and yeah, as I get better, hope I can concentrate less on mechanics and more on melody & feeling. Appreciate your comment.

  • Cool guitar. bluesVille rules!

  • Thank you -

  • You're welcome.

  • I like it, but you could use a little dirt or some verb

  • Thanks, and yeah, I bought it because I got a great deal used. Also figured that if I sell it, when all is said and done, will cost the same as buying a new guitar for half the price. Bottom line: I don't regret it, a great guitar.

  • i like your parker;)

  • gettin there.. but why would you buy a $2,500 dollar guitar to learn on?

  • kind of a wierd guitar for blues but good playing though- i wish i had someone to jam with other than my dad who just sleeps all the time

  • They Call it Stormy Monday! You are learning well my friend. The first thing I noticed is your great taste in guitars. I have a USA Parker Southern Fly Tele that kills my other guitars every time I plug it in. I am getting a Mojo in a few months. I played one in a shop against LP's and high end PRS' and liked the Mojo best. Great job and don't pay attention to any haters if they criticise you like gossip columnists. You are excellent for "just learning!"

  • Hey, thanks for your encouragement - I really appreciate it. And yeah, if I was only as good as my Mojo.... Anyway, I know you'll enjoy yours, a truly great guitar. Take care.

  • cool song! is it by you?

  • Thank you. It's a backing track, me just playing along. No tab or anything.

  • awesome tone dude!

  • Thanks- I'm getting ready to post something with my tube amp... should sound pretty good. Appreciate your comment.
